i still haven't found a reasonable counter weapon against it, or greatswords in general

reactive claymore players are arguably just as terrible to have to deal with. quicksteps are too risky, longswords lose to poise trades, perseverance strategies are too slow.. ultra weapons are too slow, spears are too telegraphed

i think greatswords are actually just the best weapon to be using right now, they're extremely annoying and difficult to play against

god forbid it's a super-heavy armor greatsword episode, all of the above problems get ten times worse when they have effective infinite poise on attacks

Not him but from my observation hes using lighting clutch and sage rings. Possibly using both the miracle rings as well.

You should only use Yorshka's chime with 60 faith. Hes also using Saint-tree Bellvine for faster casting at the cost of lower damage.

Since LA is such a good miracle, you don't need many attunement slots, 30 attn is plenty. Dump the rest of your points into health/stam and make sure you have enough str/dex to use a weapon of choice (bondage whip for maximum miracle damage).

As for the ring, it's only worthless if you get hit, though I only use it when I swap out my bondage whip for an infused weapon. I use Chloranthy ring in its place though most of the time.
