Set the bitrate to (8192 * <file size limit>) / length of frame in seconds
I'm surprised at the amount of people who just trial and error it over and over again to get a filesize just below 3mb. If the file size is too large which shouldn't happen lower the resolution a little, keep the aspect ratio though.
Also please remember to do 2-pass encoding and high quality mode, it makes it look much nicer

I usually feed the raw capture data through Handbrake first before feeding it into Webm for Bakas, I find that it helps immensely with the size/quality ratio. Any other compression program would work too

As I understand it you can turn off the ally names and outlines so they dont show up through walls and shit. Do you guys do this? I've been killed once or twice because I saw an enemy with an ally's name over them so I didn't shoot. I keep it on so I can glance at my ally's outline and see which way they're covering. It also helps me avoid teamkills, by not shooting when an enemy is in front of a soft wall that's in front of an ally.

I've actually been having a lot of success lately with putting them in places where frankly people should see them but they just dont. For example on Chalet, the bomb was in the bar room behind the main lobby. I put a trap between the big sofa in the lobby and the wall with all the windows on it because when they're moving in from the door they'll be looking at the objective room and probably taking fire instead of looking where they're going.

It's a useful tactic for when a room has too many damn windows to trap them all.

otherwise it's behind shield because it saves precious seconds in ranked even if they know it's there (barbed wire is still better) or otherwise just a bit off the entry of the room.

one of my spots is on both sides (towards the corners) in the train museum objective. It's dark and blends in with the floor, and often people are just rushing through the objective in the last half-minute .

Or just use them like a more acute barbed wire basically to warn you if someone's going around your flank. Useful even if they dont fall for it.

What do you want with new maps?

One of my favorite oldschool designs was a map with big high-risk high-reward areas, basically big open ranges of space that can get you to a great spot or get you to objective faster, but is an enormous and terrifying risk to run through.
Basically just a map with a big open middle with objective rooms and entrances around the edges, dotted with minimal cover, something like an airplane hangar or gymnasium. Long range weapons would suddenly be a constant threat beyond just window-peeking, smoke grenades would suddenly be relevant, and it would give a break to the monotony of "Lockdown hallways A B and C and hold your breath for 3 minutes".
There would obviously still be tight quarter combat around the entire rim of the map, but if you need to get from one side to the other quickly you'd have to run through the danger zone.
