Midrange matchup is absolutely impossible for Haven. Aggro steamrolls every Haven build as well since you only have so many banishes. Shadow is undisputed king right now and I'd kill to have more Dragon players to bully, but sadly Masters is either Shadow or Dshift.

I'm so sick of this design philosophy. I'm sick of cards like Albert (or that new Dragon card that heals it and gives it a play point) that does a bunch of random shit for no reason despite being good when only doing one of those many effects.

Why does he buff other followers? Why not just be a strong body that floods the board? That's already powerful. He makes Otohime look like a joke. Is there a worse feeling than losing (with ease) to Aggro Shadow despite having at least one ward placed every single turn after the first turn? They manage to keep a decent hand size too so it isn't even go for broke like Aggro Blood always was

I don't understand how pointing out that Aegis runs bahamut so amulets are less effective against it than they should be means I'm at a low rank? It's just a fact of life.
Wards and amulets against Aegis aren't guaranteed to work due to the fact that Haven can just remove them no problem. That's just how the deck works. You can pretend to be all smart about techs and shit, but in reality Aegis has ways around the techs. Yes it helps if they haven't drawn their myriad board wipes, but they exist. The techs aren't guaranteed by any means.
Odin stopped Seraph 100% of the time. Obviously they could have multiple Seraphs, but when you Odin'd a Seraph that Seraph was dealt with. You play shit against Aegis? Pretty good chance it's not gonna end up doing shit. That's not even talking about the fact that all these tech cards are delays and nothing else.
The only real way to stop Aegis once its played is Kaguya or killing them before they kill you.

Aegis is fine because it can't even attack until turn 10. Nep pulling a Mord on turn 8 while popping your followers and healing, or seraph straight up winning on turn 9 was faster than aegis. Yes, you could banish the seraph or banish mord, but the fact that they were active much quicker than aegis meant that they were more dangerous. With Seraph you had exactly one turn to deal with their shit and if you didn't happen to have a petrify or an Odin on that turn then you just lost. Not the case with Aegis.

Why it's obvious that you're shit is because you're acting as if you are supposed to deal with Aegis directly when Aegis puts a timer on you to kill them. Its like Prince of Darkness. You can't "deal" with the riders or dis in their hands but its your fault for letting them get to turn 11 anyway, and by the time Satan is played the game turns into a race to end game. Aegis is the exact same way. Once its played its on you to end the game, not try to "deal" with Aegis. If you aren't in a position to push for game by turn 9 against Aegis either you suck and deserve to lose or you got outplayed, in which case you deserve to lose.

Aegis is fine because "turn 9 do nothing" isn't just a meme. Its not the fastest wincon in the game and can be stalled out after its played. Its not even as oppresive as Satan because you can see Aegis, whereas with Satan you're hoping he draws Servants and doesn't just Dis your face the next turn.

I was just arguing with you because you (or someone) said it was easier to deal with Aegis than Seraph, which is stupid. You can deal with Seraph; you literally can't deal with Aegis. That's kind of its thing. Someone said you could play wards against Aegis and I quickly pointed out you could not; same with amulets. Don't work. They got ways around that. I never said whether that was unfair or not, I was just pointing out that they were wrong.
Now I do think Aegis is fucking horrible awful design because it is very oppressive for slower decks, but I agree that the deck isn't overpowered. I was actually one of the anons arguing against the fact Haven was overpowered.

Aegis cannot be killed. That's its thing. It has no answers because it was designed that way.
What you think are "answers" are not answers. They are ways to try and stall the game so you die slower and hopefully get enough time to win.
If we want to get technical, that's what's called a soft counter, as it doesn't actually fix the problem; it just delays it. Soft counters are especially bad against Aegis because, yes, Haven is ready to deal with them. You dropping a mask as control blood only to get hit by Baha is pretty fucking bad; and it's not uncommon either.

You're still wrong. Seraph was harder to deal with because you had exactly one turn in most cases to deal with it or you lost. If you didn't have amulet removal on turn 8 then it was over for you. Aegis can be stalled and you're supposed not ignore Aegis and WIN the game, not try to control it. Aegis needs at least turn 10 to win and you can stall it with wards while going for lethal yourself.

Wards barely counter Aegis because Haven has an extremely easy time killing the wards you put down to try and stall. I have never successfully had a ward live against an Aegis. They always had the answers ready. It's either Themis or Baha or Tribunal or maybe even another Aegis will the first one eats the ward. If they have an evo left it's even more laughable.
Throwing wards against Aegis isn't a fucking answer, it's a desperation play. You're the fucking idiot here thinking wards mean shit against the Aegis deck.

Again, once Aegis is played you're racing to lethal. You seem to have the idea (probably because you're shit at the game and don't know how to play against Aegis properly) that you're supposed to fight against Aegis directly. Warding against Aegis is good because it gives you extra time to put lethal on board. You're not going to stall Aegis forever and if you can't win the game by turn 11+ then you deserve to lose.

And if they have Themis by turn 11 then you didn't put enough pressure early and you deserve to lose.

Aegis is comparable to Satan only its played one turn earlier. The gamestate after its played is still the same. Race to the finish. I'd rather have a chance to ward against an 8/8 Aegis than getting Dis'd 3 turns in a row with no counter play. But even then, Satan, just like Aegis isn't a guanteed win.

Saying that your wards get broken so the deck is dumb is just assinine.

See, this is where you're putting words in my mouth. I literally never said that. I have never said anything about the power level of the deck. I'm saying wards don't help nearly as much as you're saying they do, at leas tin my experience.
You're saying putting down wards helps you race to lethal, and I disagree because the wards often do nothing. You play the wards, they die, then Aegis hits your face. If they have Baha, then you lose hard since now they also have a 13/13. You spend your time dropping wards and you lose the race because they don't delay Aegis at all most of the time.
You're comparing it to Satan a lot, but I think that's not a very good comparison too. Aegis is always there as soon as you play it; it's a constant threat. It's always impacting the board and it's always threatening big damage. Satan doesn't work this way; if your opponent is ahead you're in a very rough spot with Satan. Aegis ispowerful because you can use every board wipe imaginable and Aegis will survive; that's not how it works with Satan. If you need to remove followers to get the board back with Satan, often you won't also be able to use the cards you're drawing from the Apocalypse deck. Essentially, I'm saying Satan is a lot worse than Aegis and it's much easier to fight back against Satan than it is Aegis.

I'm saying its completely possible to beat Aegis after its played and even well after its played. There are multiple ways to delay Aegis from winning game, from healing, to wards, to durandal and flat out killing them. Fucking Grimnir pierces ToS and puts up ward so Aegis can't hit face.

Everything you've said shows that you're just salty over losing against Aegis when its completely balanced and the worst wincon Haven has had. The only reason people are playing it is because all the previous ones got powercreeped out.

First off, all the ways to delay Aegis can be used, and are used, by the Aegis deck itself. I'm saying those ways are very unreliable, and generally don't work well.
Second, I'm not complaining that Aegis is overpowered. I was simply saying that Seraph has a direct counter whereas Aegis does not, meaning it is easier to deal with Seraph because you can stop them from winning, giving you all the time you need. Whether or not you can delay Aegis to give you enough time to win is more based on what they have than what you have, as they have plenty of ways to counter your attempts. Aegis has no "direct" counter but that doesn't make it in any way busted. Just like Satan has not "direct" counter because the cards it plays are from the hand. And both are about just as fast as each other. The difference is that Aegis has ToS to protect himself from getting face rushed once the useless follower is played.

Aegis is a completely fair and balanced card and your entire problem comes down to thinking that every card in the game needs a one card counter solution. And again, Odin is a much less reliable counter to Aegis. Stopping a turn 9 Seraph win is a lot harder than stopping a turn 10+ Aegis win.

Dark Conjurer isn't always useful. You'll rarely use the storm unit but having some extra ping is always nice.

spartoi is always a nice card to combo howl+cerberus.
If you want to enter in the autistic levels of deck building start making imaginary duels with pulls by percentage and calculate the probability with every card.
