What do Energy Drinks/Painkillers actually do? They say add to boost but I don't know what boost does

Also is there any reason to hold onto points other than buying crates with random loot in them?

From my experience, energy drinks and painkillers do the same thing. On the first application, they add health regen, on the second, they add a speed boost on top of that. So if you take two painkillers/energy drinks, it will fill up the orange bar at the bottom and you'll get small health regen and a speed boost.

Yasnaya Polyana is such a strange city. I can't tell if it's a popular loot area or not. I never see anyone there, never see shit being looted, but always hear gunshots coming from the vicinity. It's like some kind of spooky ghost town.

Whereas Pochinki ALWAYS has 10 niggers roaming around ready to pop shots off if you come within 200 meters of the city, despite being half the size of Yasnaya.

A fully upgraded UMP or even a fully upgraded UZI is insanely fun. If the final circles are around and houses or buildings at all, I always try to main arm an AR or Sniper and Sidearm a smg.

This is just personal preference though.

What situations favor burst fire? For sniping you want single shot. In close quarters you want full auto though you can get away with single shot if you have good reaction time.

M16 might as well not be burst fire because whenever you use it it's basically full auto anyway. A good situation for it is in squad play when you aren't being focused and get around the side of the enemy so you can pop 3 rounds in accurately without being focused instantly.

Sniper rifles are retarded

I've made it down to the top 5 multiple times and 90% of the time it comes down to who has a sniper rifle

Like I get that there's a reason they don't spawn except in crates but that's not much of a balance metric. The game still end up as: do you have a sniper rifle? okay, you probably win. Inevitably somebody is going to end up with one. If it's not the first guy to loot the crate it's the guy who loots the guy who looted the crate.

Solo is fun for like 30 hours. After the initial excitement you realize how boring 99% of the time is. Squads is still fun for me, because if you manage to find someone there's gonna be a big fire fight.

In solos you usually just shoot at one guy from long rang, kill him and keep the running simulator going until the top 10 where you hang around and shoot at people sitting behind a rock or a tree and hope the circle doesn't force you to run across an open field.

That's the problem. Cover system is good when you can take advantage of it because you know you're being shot at. 1-shot kill sniper rifles remove that. You can be in what you think is decent cover and then you immediately die without recourse. Games are built upon being able to respond to threads.
