Monk and Paladin are the choices, and there's a couple of different builds for them.

Paladin does much less damage, but has better support options. Monk does much more damage but no support.

Pre-Monk/Paladin you have two main choices, Diev or Priest. Diev gives you another attack, which is piercing and makes up for the Pally/Monk lack of pierce skills, while also having good support. Priest makes your normal attacks much stronger, but if you're playing Monk you'll be using double punch instead of normal attacks. Priest also has a 10% DEX buff, DEX is the best stat for physical damage, can resurrect, has another heal, and make people cheat death the first time they die.

Okay I got some dumb questions but bear with me. Is Square still on vendor only status or is there merit in bringing one to a party? There's no real tanking, only pulling and avoiding or negating attacks. Swashbuckling is the easiest way to do pulling and it only requires pelt1. You can take that and build a damage-dealing murmillo or something. Pelt-Cata does work fine if you're willing to use weapon swapping all the time.

Krivis is a melstis slave, PD has the highest AoE dps in the cleric tree combined with ausrine to combo with melstis and infinite duration owls and tree for extra damage and mob control.
Inquisitor is indeed outclassed by both builds.

Poison damage is not reduced by physical defense, magic defense, or PvP reductions. Poison's copy applied damage so Glass Mole cards work wonders on them. Poisons of course also do not need positioning, they are cast and forget, while you are free to use all the other time using other abilities - the damage you gain from animation time saved vs. say a fletcher must be accounted for.

You have no idea, but trust me. I know Wugushi 3 Mergen's potential! I would argue pre-buff that they were the strongest sustained single target damage dealers. Post-buff it isn't a contest! I was at about 8m DPM, sustained indefintely, pre-buffs with a purple stage 9 bow. Stage 10 post-buffs would boost me up past 10m DPM, sustained indefinitely. I calculated 12-13m, but I never got to test it. Regardless, Wugushi is the strongest!

Fireball is stronger as a DPS skill than Frost Cloud, even before Agny. Anyone who played Wiz 3 Pyro or Pyro Linker after they undid the linker's nerf (a little bit before rank 8) knows this. The thing about frost cloud is... ranged, large aoe, immune to swordcuck kick and well... AOE. Fireball aoe ratio is very limited. Purely for rank 7 content FC was enough to clear shit so Fireball's extra total dps (and even link) wasn't needed too much for anyone to care and SR Meltis was enough to 20f so....

But if we had the rank 8 patch TODAY with the rank 8 mobs nerf, even without agny Pyrolinker would be a very strong contender to do stuff and farming, much better than elememe overall since they are a one trick pony.

Once scaling is in the game Elementalist will be the superior choice. They actually have variety to their spells and multiple elements. The only problem with Elementalist going into R8 was the poor low scaling and needing near 5,000 Matk as an entry level to deal any damage. Couple that with the essential Wiz3 and you have a powerhouse character. Frost Cloud is just one spell. Meteor, Hail, Chain lightning, Provinence are all AoE spells. Hail is amazing against any boss but again the problem was poor scaling.

If all those spells scale then it's RIP Pyro once again. An Elementalist into RuneCaster (of which I hear is going to receive love soon) into Sage and you have a better Pyro already.

I think the average was around 600-700 kills before? Maybe, been a while since I did it. The unluckiest of people went past a thousand or more, but the new dpk still probably changed things. They clump together a lot so it's not too bad of a grind compared to other enemies.

I accidentally used up my quest for a free TP to Klaipeda. How do I get a new one? I remember hearing months ago that you just destroy a bunch of items near the item girl.

Pyro will never be obsolete, also, they don't plan new DPS classes for wizard. You will either be pyro, kino, ele, Warlock and mix classes/support those skills with the later utility, link, sage, chrono, mimic and etc.

Don't expect quick cast going final damage 50%, it will work exactly as it works now with agny and Isa rune. If Hail goes to 350% tick, expect it to be 400% on quick cast. Sure is something, specially because of the fast casting ability but expect the pyro 3 ele 3 eating the shit out of the mobs on multihits (low mdef mobs) while quick cast will give better damage to Sage's Dimension (higher base damage).

Well yeah but if you kept reading they want to make later circles scale even better, so expect Frost Cloud to have a 300% scaling on it. Couple that with possible Rune Caster changes and you have a future powerhouse. That is if they change how Rune of Ice works. I'm expecting later ranks to gain more scaling than previous ones, obviously because their attributes are more expensive and should carry more weight than literal first circle choices.

That's the only thing I'm almost sure they will avoid. Simply to avoid earlier ranks being obsolete (imagine wiz 3 linker 2 Chrono 3 Arcanist). Also, we still have other two branchs (archers and swords) that basically can only DPS (specially archers) with few support memes while in the wizard (and the cleric) tree you're free magically justify anything. While archers might get a magic class like bard and special combat classes to specific settings (lancer ) on the swordtree, those guys are still going to be more DPS oriented than anything else in their final classes. Just think about how DPS magic cleric broke the game already. Don't expect PD 3 being as impactful as PD 2 Miko is now or any new super DPS cleric to be double super with druid 3.

They want early circles to stay relevant more than anything else, they just want to keep the middle circles relevant as well. Literally. That's currently their main issue dude, they what's us to take pyros, elememer, kinos, hl, monks, sadhus, barbarian, sapper, wugushi and etc and mix, not just (utility, buff, CC) into (final DPS class) .

Because you're basically killing pyro again in favor of warlock making both kino, pyro and elememe bad giving even higher scalling to warlock and this will end up on wiz 3 linker Chrono warlock, killing diversity even more. If things stay how you want their to stay, we will never see monk/paladin into Inquisitor 3 being good because your politics of giving higher scalling to later ranks will be the same problem, people will go diev 3 miko all over again.

I think I just went through my most painful dungeon run ever:

>Pelt3-Hop doesn't take the lead and doesn't use swash

We (a full Pyro and I, a Pyro-Linker) had to carry them through the whole thing.

Solimiki is a tough place where your team needs to create team compositions that work together well.

The general idea is to have:
A support mitigation for Physical ad anti-knockback. A support with mitigation for magic.
Get enough multi hits.
Have enough single target for bosses.
Have enough AOE combos for DPS check floors.
Have enough CC for floors with protect this thing.
