Its pretty straight forward and there is an ingame database of enemy locations, item drops, ect. So you can do the quests wihout too much trouble.
the effects of the bras you pick up and of course the scene to scene dialogue is missed but you can get by without it.

Do you have Sayonara Umihara Kawase, TxK, and Earth Defense Force 2 yet? Those are some great games that take up almost no space. Apart from that, why not some PS1/PSP games? Mahvel you can't buy digitally anymore. And Uncharted I don't know why you would. I go physical-only whenever possible, and I still managed to fill up my 64gb with games. So don't waste space before you need to.

I get by with 32 GB just fine. You can always just backup games to your PC to free up space on your card right.

For example, you can keep game one in a series on your Vita and game 2 on your PC until you beat the first one, then just swap them.

That's crazy talk. I missed out on some physical copies of vita games that way. I saw them, they were cheap, but I passed on them because I wasn't done with the game I was currently playing. Never saw another copy locally.

Now if I see a game that I am even slightly interested in at a cheaper price, I snag it. I will play them eventually, and even if I don't, I am not out that much so I never feel like I have wasted the money. $20 or less tends to be my threshold.

Mostly because I hate carts. I just prefer to go full digital, as much as I can anyway. I have a 32 gb and as you can see, I can barely fill it as is. Lol. The combat is bagged ass. The problem is they tried to move to 3D while keeping the system built for 2D. It doesn't work. It was amazing in 2D, but it just doesn't translate. Not to mention that half the time your AI teammates will just steamroll everything, which just isn't fun. Some of the games don't even have the option to solo battles.

I'd be more into visual novels if they had better pacing, which is a major problem for most of them, even the ones I liked. The issue is not the length (just like how I'm fine with playing an 80~ hour RPG) but the overall flow. They fit the best bits of the story in a VN between hours upon hours of doldrums. I understand it is important for world-building/atmosphere, but it's too much.

Price is a big issue for me. I don't mind spending a lot on something if I think the value is there, but they are basically just CYOA books. As such, there is no reason they should cost almost 3 times as much as a book.

The only exception I would really make is for the 3 Utawarerumono game, but that is only because I am already invested in the story and characters. Plus, I have not heard anything about another season of the anime.
