Having played about 200 hours of isometric rpgs this year, I've come to the realization that they're actually really mind-numbing. Sure, they're also fun because you can watch your character grow from being a chump to becoming a demigod thanks to getting increasingly OP items, but the only skill you develop by playing them is picking an optimal place to make your character(s) stand in. It's not clear what the Calling exactly is, but I'm sure it's said in the games that the Archdemons are just normal dragons before being corrupted by the Taint. We don't know if the dragons on the surface can emit that same kind of "signal", but if they can, it would probably get hushed by the stronger Calling of the dragons underground, which are closest to the darkspawn.
If those dragons were killed, then the darkspawn would be able to sense the dragons on the surface and would pour out. But even if the dragons on the surface don't use the Calling, the problem would be the same: the darkspawn's only purpose in life is to search for an "Old God" to corrupt, so without one they would get insane and do anything to find another one. If they caught a glimpse of a dragon on the surface, they would think they found one and would never return underground.also dragons returned back to Thedas only recently, during the Orlesian-Fereldan war, and that's exactly the time when shit started going even worse for Thedas, with the Veil getting progressively weaker and the darkspawn gaining strength and numbers in the Deep Roads

Nah, a tainted normal dragon was Corypheus' dragon we killed in Inquisition.
The Old dragon gods buried in the earth are primordial dragons that ruled the skies before time immemorial. I guess the normal dragons would be their children. The Titans ruled the earth like the Old dragon gods ruled the skies. The Evanuris hunted both of these groups down to extinction. According to my theory, Mythal tried to stop the other Evanuris from completely destroying the Old Gods and the Titans and in the process she got killed.
I also don't know what the Calling is and what's its purpose, but it's unique to the 7 Old dragon gods and the Titans. The darkspawn are drawn towards these 7 Old dragon gods because of the Calling. The Titans can call too, their blood, lyrium and red lyrium, sings just like the Calling but the song is completely different. The surface dragons are just normal dragons being repopulated in the world somehow by Mythal, Yavana. Morrigan would follow her steps too.

Neither of them have anything to do with the main plot but Descent has some dwarf lore. It's better to just watch the ending on youtube though because 95% of the dlc is a boring dungeon crawl.

specializations got nerfed
trials are a decent way to change things up
if you flirted with Harding and didn't romance anyone's else, there's one line about it in Trespasser, so not really
both Spoils of DLC armors look awful on anyone but the Inquisitor or the girls and should be skipped on those merits

Yeah, there's a shop in it. But there's also the golden nug feature which syncs all schematics across your characters so you can just use it with your old saves and get the schematics on a new character.

Well, KE is still pretty OP even if you can no longer solo dragons but I'm pretty sure you could still do insanity with any class, especially if you decide to get the dlcs and get some OP gear.

There are lots of questionable things about the way things are designed in this shitty game, but Peebee's green eyes (and eyebrows) bother me the most. I'm not an asari fan by any means, but Liara's big blue eyes were easily the most attractive things about her (followed by her other yuuge blue orbs).
