Rogue in WoW is great, because they actually give you the clever tricks that Ben is so enamored with.

Hell, just a card based on "Kick" with a mini-Loatheb effect would be useful. Maybe an Immunity-granting card based on Evasion or Combat Preparedness so you don't mulch your face as you swing your dagger? Nah, we'll just strap them down with flowers and juggling minions.

I just can't understand how Raptor + Huckster could be more fun to someone than the classic rogue style. I find it fun playing almost exclusively for tempo in a reactive and controlling way and having the feeling that I am playing with my entire deck at once instead of just my hand. You also can't pull the Timmy turns like valeera can (2 10/10s turn 5 etc.) in any other class, it's definitely a class of extremes. I guess that doesn't appeal to someone who likes playing, say, dragon warrior or Priest. It's the thinking man's aggressive class.

While we're on this why not make spell power scale a lot of things? Gain more life, Buffs buff more, make creatures that deal damage due to battlecry deal more, heck maybe even draw more cards. I mean Jesus coming from Magic this game is pretty brain dead and even something like that would add a ton of complexity/depth and fun.

The other option would be interaction during your opponents turn instead of shitty secrets. That adds a ton of situations and Mana management and all kinds of fun stuff. Also why do secrets only work on your opponents turn? Seems dumb.

I disagree. The quest reward is a much better finisher. It's an 8/8 that is also a murloc that fills your hand with murlocs that can almost certainly synergize with it and only costs 5 mana.

If your opponent can't deal with the 8/8, you win. If they can, you're still way ahead on cards and tempo considering that you probably dumped your hand and they already had to spend resources dealing with it only for you to get a new hand and an 8/8 the very next turn.

Anyone else playing with this guy? I thought he was underrated from the beginning, and I feel he's proving me right. Definitely a dangerous midrange minion that can help you swing the game in your favor. Double adapt is much more reliable than only one proc.

Plus today only you can Brann him on 10 in Standard. I recommend the use of a Beast Druid with ramp.
