Voice acting is subpar

The animations are fine, but they're pretty boring / lame. One of the characters, Kliff I believe, has a bowtie in his pre-premoted form, but once he promotes it's no longer on his model, but to my ire he still adjusts his non-existent bow tie whenever he gets a kill. I think I'll turn animations off.

No-one really stands out, out of the characters, they're all pretty boring. I think it's probably because none of them have a default class, so they can't really embrace their role too much. I mean, they're all pretty interchangeable.

Maps are utter trash. Basically no improvement at all.

I hope this doesn't hurt the chances of an actually good Fire Emblem game being remade.

I'm going to have to disagree with these points. The dungeon exploration is surprisingly in depth, they're pretty long and strenuous and I enjoy all the movement options you have, It's FE's first dungeon crawling game and it already does it better than SMTIV. Also, the dungoens don't feel randomized and this is a huge plus, especially since there are critically acclaimed JRPGs that do this. The voice acting is great but that's 100% subjective so you're entitled to that opinion. I also don't think the maps are that shitty, outside of of the Gaiden brand open field one, but maybe I'm just not as far done with the game as you are, the new improvements are obvious and overall make combat way more fun than they were previously. I don't really see how you could give this game a 5, but alright. I'm not sure how I would rate it.
