You can't deny that Dragon hasn't gone a little overboard now. Ramp means easy access to threatening neutrals - turn 9 (aka game turn 6) = 13 face damage (bahamut) or 10 face and 2 to all minions if they don't have a ward (israfil), a legendary-tier gold that acts as both an early ward and a late game reach,, a full board banish with NO downsides (unlike themis and bahamut which requires you to ruin your board as well), early ramp+healing in the form of Sybil.. etc.

There's just way too many cards that cover all former weaknesses in Dragon right now. And then there's Ouro, a Demonic Strike and Better Healing Angel on top of a high attack that you can recycle unless you're playing against the 2 classes with Banish. Right now it feels like Dragon got waaaaay too many cards that can cover multiple roles and the only way to beat them is to aggro or hope they brick and aren't able to spam removal into chaining legendaries from your turn 6. I've only faced Dragoncraft today and desu if I had all the cards I'd play dragon too because of it's absurd powerlevel.


But what do I know, I'm just a newfag who put all my eggs in a Nepdeck two weeks ago and will now hop the skellington bandwagon.

Of course you drop the Seraph. The only way he kills you from this board state is by using a shitty buff spell.

If you were to Themis + Holy Water here you would live one more turn and still not be in a position to safely drop Seraph, as he'd be able to vomit another board with equivalent or better stats and continue storming your face, only this time you aren't guaranteed to have an answer.

Furthermore, despite the fact that you only have two countdown reducers right now, you're going to have at minimum two more draws to fish for another, and you play a lot more of them in the deck than anything else.

tl;dr gambling to win is better than gambling to not lose.

If you're talking about from last month then yeah he's the one that made that deck popular. It's not really an aggro deck or even a straight midrange deck. Easier to just name it Vengeance or Storm Blood. He changed that list to put in Succubus too.

I switched to playing Vengeance Vampire for ToG because it's pretty similar to midrange with Airjammer and also pretty fun. Haven't tried out Gawain decks yet but maybe those will be good. There's no reason to play aggro because skeletons does it way better.
