Eggmilla is a different case, though, since I'm assuming this'll be a rare combo (flying tome) and she could easily fill some kind of utility slot in the future. Who knows when an Aversa or (well, who else would be a flying mage?) whoever else will end up showing up.

It's a tough decision. I know for a fact rolling for an Effie is probably a good idea given that I'm lacking in tanks and physical blues.

It means you can get it off in one round if you can double and the opponent can counterattack. Which is pretty fucking important with how fast-paced shit can be.
Really, it's not so much the effect of the skill as it is just getting it off so you can abuse Wo Dao's effect. The other 2 turn option's Reprisal, but that generally doesn't add as much.

The 50% damage increase isn't helpful in many cases. For example you need to do 20 damage in order to increase your damage by 10 from Glimmer. Luna has the same cooldown and give you 10 extra damage from an enemy having 20 defense, which is piss easy to find. Moonbow requires the enemy to have more defense but it's still more spammable.

That's how I felt about Henry, but then I tried it out and it was fantastic. I'd suggest trying it out in the future. 37 spd and 39 atk will have you double and deal alot of damage to good portion of units and 41 resistance will do good job shutting down magic, making 6 HP loss irrelevant. Set some position skills on all your units and that 6 HP loss is rarely if ever relevant.

Warding Blow was just idea floating in my head when I noticed Niles anon using it to proc higher damage for his Glacies, but he runs Killer weapon to help making it hit non-stop to be fair.
