I actually had no idea how old Ripple was until this. He didn't go off planet until his early twenties, and spent about 6 years with his "mentor" before doing his own thing. Now here's where things get weird; he's supposed to have continued "bounty hunting" long enough to have a "midlife crisis" and try heading to Earth. This would mean that he was in his forties at the very least BEFORE joining Time Patrol... Which I guess fits the original character concept of being immature for his age, but jeez.

Select -> Color Range, and fiddle around with the sliders a bit until you get something you like the look of. It often requires a bit of manual fine-tuning afterwards but it's not that difficult, provided you have a simple background. If I am taking my own screenshots with the intention of cutting them out I'll use my plain black stage mod as it makes it easier to separate ki without there being artifacts from the stage in the background (Although on some maps like the Space one, the stars can sometimes enhance the effect of the ki in a way that I like)

It looks really cool, so i can overlook the crappy damage if you don't hit both swings (Which is pretty random online), the long animation and the 400 Ki Cost.

What i can't overlook is when people Step Vanish during swing's animation. The moment i lost a ranked game solely because the guy that was Stamina Broken vanish stepped around me and did a simple Stamina Break combo with TWO Justice Combinations slapped in for a bit over 1 and a half health bar worth of damage is when i told Spirit Sword to fuck off forever.

Was my favorite Strike Ult in the game. Once you learn how to control the sphere, you could keep people inside it for damage comparable to XV1 Blue Hurricane, but Dimps patched it so it automatically knocks people away and gives them i-frames, so it is worthless now.

I used to use Final Explosion because it looks cool and it did tons of damage with my old build. But now that I can launch a Cooler Supernova for two more ki bars and don't have to drain my stamina and hope the CPU won't just block or move out of range, it's really fallen by the wayside.

Darkness Rush looks amazing but it's pretty impractical.

Final Shine looks really cool too but it's REALLY fallen out of use in this game. I remember using it on my fem saiyan all the time in XV1 thanks to infinite ki as a super saiyan.

A knockdown from high up when they're broken has given me lots of success. Hasn't failed me yet. Even though that tends to miss if they stand still when they get up, in most cases people will try to get away and get caught.

Against bots, I've also hit it from knockdowns close to the ground. Haven't gotten to trying that on people yet, but it feels like it would be more reliable.

If you really want to be safe, you can make it especially easy with a charged Sledgehammer right after your break. Just fire after that and you're pretty much set.

Finally got around to making a yellow set for Armoria G-Type. The idea was that it'd be like an optional armor pack she could equip that changes the type of energy she outputs.
