Making a House is easy though, in my Mod I made a couple of indoor rooms already. I wanted to finish my mod before making screenshots of my character, but god damn making quests shouldn't be that damn tedious and headbanging.

following guide-anons morrowind pastebin guide, and have a question

At a certain point the guide suggests installing Tomb of the Snow Prince and just using the textures from it, deleting any superfluous folders/files to reduce clutter, unless you are using windoors glow in which case some need to be renamed and put into a folder (\textures\_wgb). Later on in the architecture section some of the mods have windoorsglow compatability patches that utilize a similarly named folder (\textures\_wgv) Are these supposed to be 2 different folders, or is there a typo and I should only have one _wgv folder? Confused bc the dls for windoors glow didn't have any textures, just .bsas

Alot of the more interesting mods have things that require learning the hard way, and having to ask help from others when it comes to scripting. If you don't know how to script, you're basically fucked if you have ideas but have no idea how to execute them.

I've seen that done actually, minus the different effects like factors and weather. that sounds painful to implement, I think you probably will have to code a script that registers animation events and add an self constant effect. But I don't blame you for stopping, it gets to the point that even if you finish the mod, you won't bother playing it.

At least you were able to get those glowmaps going bright, I have a Skin for an NPC I'm trying to get glowing like that and I can't figure it out. When I get back around doing it soon, I gotta figure how you did that the swords look great.

I thought that would be a part of some kind of character arc over the playthrough/story, magic being one of the only things he knows and the only way he has to really defend himself, he'd have to figure out what to do with it as he learns more about his people and culture. I had some thoughts about him maybe specializing in ice magic, or maybe he'd learn more about using bound weapons and learn traditional fighting techniques using them. I didn't really think he would abandon magic altogether and take up physical weapons, he'd probably be too small and physically weak for it, at least not without some magical assistance. Maybe he'd just decide that the weapons he uses and where the magic came from didn't matter, it was now his and he'd use it to fight for his home and people. I'm not sure what you mean by broken down in the face of the raw, ancient magic, though. I might have to scrap the idea, I really thought the Thalmor were involved in Skyrim for longer for some reason.

Eh, it's mostly me just playing around with ideas. Giving him a real band (of the hawk) to lead, and me testing various "poses" and things people can do in the background. Basically, more akin to a playground of me playing with ideas than anything concrete.
