pretty great for a starting team, though I'd personally swap Cain for an Eliwood. The real strength behind cavmemes is the Gunter/Jagen combo. Not them themselves but their C-Skills that give +6 ATK/DEF/SPD/RES.

Escape Route works well with other teammates with Wings of Mercy. They can both come in and assist each other or other teammates separately. Cecillia will be able to handle nearly all greens, blues, and greys that show up, especially if shes +ATK. The cavmeme bonus will give at least +12 from one buff, and +24 if she gets both AND she'll only get stronger from Eliwoods Ward Cavalry giving her an additional +8 in combat. Thats +32 if you do it right, on top of her already decent neutral attack stat at 41 (32 + Gronnblade)

If you use Ursula and Cecillia in the same team one will end up suffering because to truly buff one to ridiculous proportions you need 3 other teammates helping one. You might consider grabbing a bulky cav for holding a chokepoint while Cecillia breaks the game for you.

I was more afraid of the issue that it could break some characters' usage, like limiting them due to a small stat variation that's decided by rng and can not be altered without having to get a completely new "version" of them, again, through rng. An example would have been limiting a character's ability to double attack due to barely not meeting the requirements of speed or w/e (not sure how it works in this game but something along those lines).

It really depends on the unit whether their IVs completely screw them over or not. Usually you can get away with sub optimal IVs though. Also a lot of units are generally more usable now, so if you do get IVs you don't want you'll most likely get other units that have IVs good enough for you to use.

Those IVs apply to most units in general not just daggers, but yeah double check on the site. It helps a lot and the ability to customize all the opposing units at once is pretty cool.

Since I really want to clear DLC maps of Awakening before Im done with the game and clearly I need to grind hard for that, what would be most optimal training order in case of pairings:

Lon'qu + Cherche
Henry + Cordelia
Ricken + Lissa
Stahl + Maribelle
Frederick + Miriel
Vaike + Nowi
Chrom + Olivia
Gregory + Panne
Gaius + Sully
Robin + Sumia
Libra + Tharja

As for classes, situation is as follows: Recruited all kids, including Severa (currently level 20 Hero with passed Lifetaker and Galeforce), Inigo (also level 20 Hero with passed Rightful King and Galeforce) Cynthia (level 20 Falcon Knight with passed Galeforce and Ignis), Morgan (same), Kjelle (reached level 15 with General with passed Lethality and Defender, then switched to Dark Flier and currently level 20 with this class) and Owain (level 20 Dark Knight with passed Galeforce and Tomefaire). Rest are recruited but pretty much ignored (tho Laurent starts with Tomefaire from mommy and Luna from Fred).

Grinding takes long so I would rather want to plan ahead with some optimal route. Oh and Lucina leveled up to 15 as Great Lord, switched to Dark Flier for Galeforce and now is again level 15 Great Lord, since I had no idea what to do with her. First gen stayed in their own classes, with exception of Olivia and Lissa who leveled up as Dark Fliers for a while.

Try Silas on the left, Effie/Niles on the right, Corrin and Arthur paired up on the right center chokepoint and spam the fire orb on the units coming from the left until Camilla can plug up the chokepoint. They'll break the wall and one will get in but you can easily kill it and plug up the wall after.

That should at least help you get started. It's how I always open up the chapter.

Why not Nyx and Silas on the left to ORKO both Savages with the iron sword and Fimbulvetr.
Arthur and Effie on the right Arthur can handle all of that with a Defence tonic and maybe a Strength tonic also.
The rest, including Selena and Beruka in the middle with Camilla's first turn to be using all but one of her movement with Azura's dance to get the draco shield and kill Oboro by turn 3.

Generally you should be playing a mix of managing chokepoints with as little as you can ideally, and using the remaining units to do what you can. Don't overextend and kite back when you need to, to calcs if you're not sure a unit can survive multiple attacks, and remember that Elise has a Freeze staff. I hope you have some uses for it saved.

Well, I usually throw Niles on the right because the middle ballista leaves him far too exposed and Pegasus Knights come from the right anyways. Arthur I never use for anything other than pair up fodder, usually. He usually has such bad growths I can't use him on Luna runs. Too inconsistent.

Nyx on the Fire Orb supporting Silas works basically the same as a dual striking Nyx so I don't see the point in putting her in danger's way.

Nyx is never in danger since killing the Savages is done before they take down the barricade.
We both achieve the same thing but in your scenario you lose the barricade and I keep it, which alters the way the Throwing Club Oni Savage later on moves.
Which makes it so Nyx is then safe on the Fire orb when Takumi Moses's the water.
It's really quite the strategy if I do say so myself.

My Nowi has QR, so I can usually take out the ranged threats by making them suicide into her. If there's more than one/it's Julia/Nino, I just try to bait them from just outside the attack range.
