I have this SNEAKING suspicion that when they tested out "Play the same minion 4 times", or "Play 4 of the same minion", people were too dumb to get it and thought they had to literally play Swashburglar #1 four times, by bouncing it back to their hand. And that Swashburglar #2 wouldn't count towards the quest so they wouldn't play it.

So thats why they had to akwardly name it "Play 4 minions with the same name", even though it isnt as easy to write it that way. But people are dumb.

Got high rank again shortly after GvG with mech priest and shortly after MsoG with N'zoth Shaman.

The Priest Shadowform OTK has to be the dumbest combo ever.

You need to play a Reno deck with 2 x Shadow Visions and 2 x Radiant Elemental and almost no other spells.
Then draw one of each but NOT the other Shadow Visions (if you draw both Shadow Visions you lose).
Then draw Beardo and Shadowform.
Then play Raza + 2 x Radiant + Beardo + infinite Shadow Visions.

and you'll probably rope out before you even kill your opponent because Beardo's animation takes ages.

It doesn't even need to be that complicated. All you do is play the new legendary, Lyra, and then go off with two radiant elementals and a shadow vision, grabbing the other shadow vision in a recurring loop, plus getting a bonus spell (hopefully smite/mind blast). Basically, its a five-card "I-might-accidentally-this-game" package you slot into your control or deathrattle priest deck. Brode wasn't kidding when he said the legendary was really strong, and it's kinda tilting to see all the reviewers and redditors bashing on it.

Playing 7 taunts = almost guaranteed to beat aggro.
Good luck getting through a 3 mana 3/5 taunt -> 4 mana 3/5 taunt -> 5 mana 2/7 taunt that heals you -> 6 mana 5/9 taunt -> 7 mana 5/11 taunt.

Reward = 8 damage hero power = almost guaranteed to beat control.

So you get to beat both aggro and control. What's the downside to this quest?

It's been explained a lot; almost nothing else was being played in the 5 slot most of the time. Azure drake was such a generally good card, that if you were going to include a 5+ mana card, you could just drop it in and your deck was better. They want more space for less insanely versatile cards to be able to be played. A 4/4 with spell damage, cycle and the dragon tag is insane compared to 90% of 5 mana minions.

Someone on plebbit simulated the chance of completing the Hunter quest. With 25 one-drops you have a 43.26% chance of finishing by Turn 4 and a 74.44% chance of finishing the quest by Turn 5.

So, this is what you'll need to face down:

Turn 1: Nothing
Turn 2: 2 x one drop
Turn 3: 2-3 x one drop
Turn 4: 2-3 x one drop
Turn 5: 8/8
Turn 6: 1-6 3/2 raptors
Turn 7: 1-7 3/2 raptors
