not much really, good writing doesn't mean complex things

The truth is that most characters in v3 lacks development and when they do, it's something rushed and unoriginal like, death of beloved ones

but about the characters I found interesting

wow, hoshi was a surprise. What this character does right is that you can feel that he was fully written (and not lacking here and there), because everything important that you need to take into account to understand his character is there. And yet still showed some depth in character without trying to be super complex. I was ignoring until I noticed how saihara took notes of his behavior instead of his words or dialogues (that were few) to reach someone like hoshi and that was when I decided to do the same to understand his character better and I am glad I took the time. After doing that it's easy to have a lot of interpretations of hoshi's character because the guy lives a persona, so hoshi himself can't tell who he is. (I like that it's stated he has a good heart regardless).

if only amami wasnt killed in the first chapter we could have got an interesting character, sadly that never happened so I can't say for now at least that he is interesting (because i believe that he could get a ln)

I have the feeling that Kaede could have been a different and interesting protagonist if she lived because there are so many flaws of her character as a leader of the group showed in the 1st chapter, however I wouldn't want she to stay alive as well. A confront of she and ouma would really be interesting
