Someone in the last thread mentioned that they have a weird mouse sens tied to framerate issue, it might have to do with dynamic resolution, as your sens could be affected by the resolution you run the game at, and the dynamic res could be affecting your sensitivity.
If you're using dynamic resolution it might be worth a try to turn it off.
Otherwise I have no clue what could be causing it.

Does anyone have both Northstar prime and the second Northstar nose art pack? The store preview only lets you see how they look on regular Northstar and I want to make sure the cat and flower blossom arts don't look all cut off and poorly placed on my prime.

Not trying to buy another art pack if they half-assed the prime placement like almost every other nose art.

Is it time to hang up the grenadier weapons? I am finding that people are just shitting all over me with the hitscan guns. Especially hitscan smg's.

Should I just hang up the softball? Switch to a hitscan gun and actually do consistently decent? Sometimes I do well with softball, other times hitscan shits on me.

I am going sanic fast too and still, you just can't out speed hitscan.

Melee is still wonky. Sometimes i home in for a couple feet away, other times I do what you did and mouse the mouse a little after the animation but it still whiffs.

The worst is when you melee, hear the sound, see the animation, but opponent somehow outmeleed you. This is especially evident with stim where you die BEFORE the animation even takes place.

thats always gonna be the case since smgs are the superior weapons and much easier to play. you may now and then get a game of slow players that you destroy, but for the most part you will be dying more than you kill people. all the cool grenadier webms you see here dont show how many times those players died to get those cool shots

In case you don't already know (and you clearly don't), the faction only applies to what YOU see. If you pick the 6-4, everyone you're playing with looks like they're part of the 6-4 as well. But a teammate could be part of Apex, and they will see their team branded as Apex.

this is a consistent issue with all suppressed weapons and the awall because of how the damage changes of the suppressor and awall don't get along at all. the boost just completely removes your suppressor and overwrites the damage, but the awall doesn't know how to do that to an already fired shot.
it's on the growing list of "shit i've already debugged and/or just pretty much fixed and should bill respawn for". my favorite bit about this is that the colony patch notes claimed "Silence Pistols are now properly amped" which is a straight up lie with no visible changes to suggest any attempt was made, though there was an attempt in the angel city patch which made the amped pistol have lower damage because of the suppressor, but still otherwise unsuppressed it because fuck you i guess.

How does /tfg/ get fast with chemical pickmeups?

Maybe not everyone but I'm sure most of you are likely caffeine fiends. Does adderall mix with tittyfall? I've never been the "COD ZOMBIES AND TEXT FRIENDS FOR ADDIES" type but I've also never encountered such a fast game where said drugs might enhance fastness to a high degree.

I've personally noticed even a cup of tea puts me in a fast yet focused mindset before playing.

Sorry EPG niggers but the most satisfying projectile of them all is a triple bullet cleanly exploding a head like a meat balloon.

what northstar kit do y'all use? they all seem to be good choices.

I've been using threat optics, I really like it, especially in LTS where half the time you're fighting across the map, helps pick out titans behind trees and shit on colony.
Piercing shot seems like it might be useful for helpful legions who like to waddle in front of me right as I fire my fully charged railgun, with the additional bonus of hitting dummies who stack up in corridoors.
Cluster missile upgrade seems legit for pilots hiding in buildings and for damaging things caught in the trap.
Double traps seems like it's probably the least useful, but even then I could see two traps being super legit for escaping an oncoming titan, blocking off two routes of attack, or trapping someone in for scorch/ronin/laser core/salvo core/nuclear ejections.
Viper thrusters let you go fast.

Viper Thrusters and Enhanced Payload are usually the go to for Northstar but I've been running twin traps a lot lately. Being completely immobilized is a huge deal, especially if there's another Titan to take advantage of that. Try playing with a Scorch and watch how easy it is to give the ol spicy finger to helpless, restrained Titans.

Also there's no visual queue but I'm pretty sure you hear the traps go off no matter if you're close or not. So if you remember where they are you know where you've got a trapped Titan.

Titans can still use defensives without assault chip, all it does is enable them to use their offensive (and maybe utility? not too sure if they can by default)
The AI is exactly the same with or without, but the unlocked offensive alone might give it an edge against other auto titans but that's hardly important enough

nuclear ejection is fun, northstar wants to be at longe range obviously, but you can use your tether traps for some cheesy kills with the nuke. if you drop a tether on a shielded titan then nuclear eject as it starts to stand up, you're guaranteed a free kill unless it's a ronin.

I think 50% boost. This is based on the charge rifle with charge hack installed, it does 50% damage to pilots unamped and 75% damage amped.

I was disappointed that it wasn't a one hit kill though, since both versions take 2 hits to kill a pilot and the stock version without charge hack is already 1-hit.

It's like Stopping Power from CoD's of old. One less shot to kill at close-range, and generally even less at longer ranges. The game just pulls new ("amped") damage values rather than applying a percentage buff or anything.

For example, DMR goes from 55 to 100 damage (2 -> 1 shot kill), CAR goes from 25 to 35 (4 -> 3 shots) at close range and 10 to 20 (10 -> 5 shots) at very long range.

sword block reduces 75% of all damage from any direction. 90% in sword core. thats how you ronin. northstars railgun will penetrate but they also cant do shit to you up close.

It only goes up to 90 IIRC.

Personally, I find it playable. It's got a lot more minions because it's an MS exclusive and all the servers are hosted on Azure. You can still find Frontier Defense, Attrition, and Campaign games on PC.
