Why didn't the human gods play any part of this game? Why aren't there worshippers from other races when the gods are obviously real and grant boons?

For awhile they were trying to trump up the Charr as the most awesome thing ever (a fucking Asura even claims The Black Citadel is the greatest city he's seen in Tyria), then they moved onto the Sylvari somewhere around the end of release before development.

And it's still the sylvari, I think.

Why is WvW so shit? I tried it 4 times, could never find a zerg to run with. found enemy zergs running over me a couple of times though. I know about commanders but I haven't yet seen one, why doesn't the game just show me where friendly players are in general?

I googled and someone said orange crossed swords means people from my server are fighting there, but so far I haven't seen orange swords ever.

Well, in GW1, as I recall, the Gods still had enough influence where you could revive at resurrection shrines and pray/commune for blessings from the gods.

Not to mention Dervish Avatar forms. (Admittedly, that might mean nothing given Abaddon cultists were fucking using them)

But, yes, GW2 is rather terrible in just about every respect and the only thing I like about it is the clear technological progression of the setting. And in some ways that's gone fucking overboard.

I was sure it would happen at the end of the month. This month of gemshop sales has presumably drained all the gems out of plebs' wallets, and now they'll need to buy gems with RL money, or at least drive up the gold-gem exchange so high that more people will be buying gems to exchange for gold.

Even before GW2, Balthazar and his half brother Menzies were at war at the Fissure of Woe.. nobody knows what happened.

You'll hear Risen talk of Zhaitan and how he feasted on the gods. Some think Abaddon, the god of secrets and water, knew of the presence of the elder dragons and gifted magic to the races of Tyria to defend themselves in case the gods couldn't. Some say the gods themselves are the elder dragons.

The gods are also worshipped by different names. Melandru is Mellaggan to the quaggan, for example. They were aiding Tyria way before the arrival of the human race.

Honestly the raid stories look like something that would fit into a proper Guild Wars game. They need to transfer whatever those raid teams are smoking into the ones working on the majority of the game.

Even the bosses look good.. Mike struck some gold and he's keeping them boxed in to design "throwaway stories" like the Bastion of the Penitent-- which the developers admitted wouldn't have been in the game if it wasn't for mad begging and lobbying on the behalf of other devs.

Most the people I've talked to about why they stopped coming to gw2g was because Anet fucked gw2 too hard and too long, or because of gw2g's habit of targeting inane and obsessive shitposting at lone posters... but then again most people I talked to about that left long the current state of gw2g, with caterday spam and such.

gw2g was always shit that drove people away from it after the honeymoon ended.

The problem is anet focuses on one game mode at a time, and leaves the others in the dark. Right now they're all about PvE, last update was focused around PvP, WvW had a short moment a long time ago too. Every time they rotate their "favorite"game mode, they alienate and lose players from the forgotten game modes.

The just keep repeating this cycle and slowly drain their playerbase because the average player only cares about 1 or 2 game modes.

Dungeons, WVW reward Track (it's the dungeon armours), Karma traders at Orr, or buy them off the market. They should not be too expensive.
You can also do the HoT Map Meta and be rewarded with an armour box as far as I remember. Should have the stats you want and more.
Trinkets are easily obtainable from the new living story maps.
Personally I go for soldiers armour and marauders trinkets (Power, CritChance, vitality, ferocity)
