Earlier you mentioned blender. What did you do to try to resize the mesh in that? If the mask has bones and you didn't edit the mesh in a way that took the bones into account then you didn't edit the mesh at all.

What I've got now is an e06 shadow set for my modcards, where I use AAFace to clothe them and call them done with a simple but consistent light snowflake. Then I have fun with the non modcard's actual snowflake. But really, you don't need to do anything special with the modcard at all. You want that to be used to extract the assests and then never used again.
