I'm okay with enjoying what we have. I'm a fan of only two series (Classic and Battle Network) and I already feel like those two have enough games and supplementary material that I don't need to bother with other subseries.

Axl, yeah?
In X8, X plays about the same as he always has.
Zero's got the close-range melee attacks, no buster. He can also gain new weapons to use besides his default saber. This includes a glaive and pair of knuckle/fist weapons.
Axl behaves something like Bass from Rockman & Forte. His attack is rapidfire shots, both for default and special weapons, and can fire them endlessly. Drawback being that he has to stand still. He can also hover short distances.
Voice acting in X8 is top-notch, and for me, the only thing that really drags the game down is the fact that two mavericks' stages are ride chase levels.

And now that word is out about Cartoon Network picking up the show, I can start talking about what happened with Disney XD. Dentsu informed me - around the time I had to pull the Film Roman leaked footage - that Disney XD passed on the show in 2016. They didn't want it. There were a couple reasons behind this but one significant factor was the public reaction to Mega Man's design. The negative reception did not fill Disney with confidence (I suppose they bad reception=bad ratings=cancelled=wasted $$$). So sometime after that, Dentsu went back to the drawing board and retooled the show. So yeah; *you* actually had a hand in the show's development.
This is why they wanted the Film Roman clip taken down. It truly no longer represented the show, visually.
There is more news on the show to come. We are getting a legitimate trailer sometime soon and maybe a clip, don't know when. There are a couple more character reveals. I haven't seen what anyone else looks like besides Mega Man and Mega Mini.
