Shout and Vessel of Fate are really nice once you get past bosses that a OSB RW can't 2 shot. You might want to wait on Onion Knight until you can stockpile enough growth eggs to get him to near max level because of his weird stat growth, though. Asylum is also one of the best heal bursts. It works well very rarely. The problem is that it only works on single targer stuff, and only on stuff that qualifies as magic. Some "spells" on harder bosses are classified as NAT, which is natural or non-attribute or something, and can't be reflected or absorbed. You kind of have to read the AI ahead of time to know what it works on.

Any boss that uses single target BM spells. It's a bit niche but you can solo a lot of bosses and give you infinite skill uses. Also great for torments. Plus infinite uses of snowspell strike is awesome

Not any of them but it's also one of the better unique effects to have. Even a lot of endgame bosses still use single target magic that gets nulled by Indomitable Blade, and it lets you wantonly use strong skills that are hard to hone like Snowspell Strike.

That is BE if there is a 6* version of that unit. There are 5* bases that are very much desired and are 1% of the pool. Featured is half of that. I heard in average it takes around 77 pulls to get them. But the problem is that lapis is used for almost everything. Less F2P friendly than RK, but you can still make it.

You rank them up in Exvius, but it's not like say, Summoner Wars where you may rank and awaken anyone you want. They have pre-set limits and generally speaking, a four star base goes to six (the max) like a five star base would. There's some notable exceptions of three stars that go to six, which are mostly protagonists and antagonists like Bartz, Exdeath, Paladin Cecil and are actually really good.

For the most part, if a new banner opens up: The five star is the "good" one, four star needs proper evaluation, the three stars are shit. Rate for five star is absolutely horrible (1% or some shit).

Depends on how long the battle goes. Lifesiphon is a must, and full charge works fairly well as a secondary damage source because of the thunder god buff. You can power chain if you want, but after the first OSB use it becomes sort of unnecessary. Something as long as a torment dungeon might require another secondary skill. I might try Omega Drive soon and see how that goes.

I also usually go with Truthseeker now, but start with SB bar RMs work fine in shorter battles since you don't want to have to spend extra time getting him rolling. If you don't have Truthseeker, battleforged/ace striker works alright. I'm not sure that one of the 20% sword materia would help as much as those.

Son of Hojo and Lucrecia. Experimented on and given cells from the alien creature Jenova and infused with mako energy from the core of the planet. Became a powerful solider fighting for Shinra, called a hero. Set local village on fire after discovering his origins. It gets updates pretty often, new banners usually come something like one a week and the anniversary going on right now is perfect for someone starting off. As for how much time per day is spent, it can rely heavily on how you spend your energy but currently I personally can spend an entire afternoon playing it. well, it's weird. Because you level classes instead of units, you can end up in situations where your physical classes are strong but your magic is seriously weak, and then you have to try grind up magic. But because things scale to your level, you have to change your entire party to mages to actually level the class up.

It can get convoluted. Try it out, I suppose.

I just started this month but it looks like new events every week, new main story content every month (along with special half price 11 pull), various other events cycling in and out like those mote dungeons and new specials added to the fat chocobo store. Anniversary has been amazing, loads of free and cheap stuff. Stamina recharges every 3 minutes instead of five minutes like other games and it's easier to increase max stamina faster (I have over 100 stamina and started this month, I've been playing BE for three months and have 63). Haven't spent any money on it, don't plan on it, it's just too easy to get stuff. Bigger stamina bar means spending less time on it, though I'm getting to play a lot right now because the main dungeons are half stamina and I want to catch up on content.

Not sure how much playing with your favorites means to you, but for me, the comparison between BE and RK is:
