Personally, MNK and NIN are about on the same level in terms of fun factor. DRG -was- fun but then they added in the mechanic of BotD with its RNG and it just sucked all the life out of it for me. Your mileage may vary, ranged DPS and casters are anti-fun incarnate. Unless ranged DPS and casters are your thing then you will likely enjoy MCH quite a bit. Possibly SMN too.

Weird, but I guess it makes sense since a lot of people are playing again to catch up for SB.

It's probably peak hours right now since it's late afternoon on a Saturday, so just try again later in the night or early morning or something. Seems like a pain in the ass, but it's better than getting stuck on an actual dead server.

Only pick Ultros, Leviathan or Excalibur though. I'm also fairly certain there's a 4chan FC on Ultros, but they haven't associated with /vg/ for a long time for obvious reasons, if you want people to actually play the game with.

Is emergency tactics pretty much something you just save for when you dont have any Aetherflow stacks?

If i want to burst heal someone i can Lustrate and if i want to AOE heal i can just Indom. So is it just 'i have no stacks so i use Emergency Tactics and Adlo/Succor'?
