There's a steep learning curve, but it's always been there. The biggest problem is more learning the maps than anything else.

I would first buff blitz in phases and see how he plays after each fix. First bug fixes, then adjust numbers or ranges, then new mechanics or features. I'd rather have small incremental buffs then out right buffing him and risk him being overpowered.

Machine pistols are a bad idea on shield operators because they can already land lucky headshots from hipfire spraying, and the reduced explosive damage and tiny hand hitbox make them a hassle to deal with. Pistols aren't strong but they're not peashooters at the close range shield ops fight in, especially in regards to stuff like Montagne's revolver or Fuze's Makarov.

Blitz has an insanely large hitbox compared to many operators, and his shield in many angles, doesn't cover it... So if you were looking slightly angled to the side, it might expose a part of your head that would otherwise not be exposed for another character using a similarly sized shield. Same with minor elevator changes, crouched Blitz vs Standing OP, etc. There may or may not be pieces of Blitz's head 100% exposed even at a 100% level playing field facing each other, but it's been a long time since I've looked at any of the Blitz research

Once you factor in network latency and how your character model server side may be facing somewhere else than you are looking at a specific moment, it just results in predictably cucked circumstances

Like on the bomb gamemode, you're usually going to shoot out a wall between the two points. Don't reinforce those walls because you'll end up fucking your team over.

Battlefield got the proning mostly right, you are severely limited in your movement if you are prone in a corner of the room to avoid clipping through the walls and the first person perspective is correct with what you'd expect.

It comes with it's own problems tho, like the movement being too restrictive sometimes (especially considering there is no leaning mechanic in bf when prone and/or out of cover), but at least you are not shot from outside the building because your feed are clipping through the walls

Tough. I'm very partial to Consulate, I really love the way it's designed. While Kanal isn't exactly a balanced map I have fun with it. I adored house when I started the game but after playing for so long it's easy to spot the flaws in it's design. Chalet feels pretty great as well.

Echo: Yokai's stun projectile is now three times as fast with a larger hitbox. Echo may now mark with his Yokai drone, but will lose stealth. MP5SD damage increased from 23 to 26.
Kapkan: EDD laser is invisible past 8m. The laser now fades into full visibility at 4m. Lethal range of the EDD is doubled. I stole this visibility idea from one anon here.

Tachanka: Reverted recoil on DP-28 to original levels. Barrel of the DP-28 now has a hitbox, preventing headshots while the shield is present.

The IQ change is great, it's fucking annoying trying to shoot out jammers and batteries, makes your job a little bit easier to do.
I can't see them making Blitz a 2 speed, I remember seeing some interview with a pro player where they talked about pre-nerf FBI shield recruit and the devs honestly hated how much mobility he had.
Frost change is needed, she's low tier at the moment and having a special mat would lead to sneaky placement.

Kapkan's change is alright.
Extra castle barricade is good. I doubt we'll ever see them get more durability due to pro league meta.

I think the AR33 needs more than just 5 extra rounds in the magazine.
Finally someone else agrees that the machine pistols are way too good and should be complete shit to make the alternate pistols a viable choice.
Angled grips on LMGs should have been a thing since their release, but Ubisoft is too incompetent for that.
CQB grip sounds good, but the only gun I would want to use it on was Jager's rifle.

8/10 changes, should have thrown in some nonsense unnecessary buffs like Thatcher's EMP range getting increased to make it seem more realistic for Ubi standards.
