Haven't had the chance to play League yet today, how good is nu-Galio after today's release and initial impressions? Is he shit or decent? Fun or boring? Also is he better off as a mid-laner, top-laner or support?

IMO I had the impression that he would have a reliable kit, but would be incredibly boring to play as a result (because let's be honest here, there's absolutely NOTHING new or unique going on with his kit. How Riot hyped him up as their biggest &most drastic VGU yet is beyond my understanding.)

Urgot is a tank who is also an anti tank who is also an ADC who is also a bruiser and initiator.

Passive gives you damage reduction on all enemies, reducing the entire enemy team's damage output by 15%, he can reduce damage to himself by up to 45% I think during his ult, and he also has a %armor shred that stacks with cleaver which he stacks super easily.

Im sure no one in these threads is retarded enough to have not figured this out yet, but Riot's plans for the Tank Update is to retool items into %Damage reduction and emphasize that stat directly opposed to just stacking Armor/MR stats.
instead of accidentally making Poppy again, or making Neo-Nautilus with 400 shields on independent, 10 second cooldowns, they're going to shift tank stats on future champions to % damage reduction, probably a solution reached during planning Urgot's rework.

This means assassins building Tank items will get almost zero mileage out of them, whereas tanks with larger base stats and resists/reduction through their kit will, well, tank well while not being QUITE as unkillable as long as sufficient Penetration is provided.
