Same reason the Northern Realms got butt-fucked a while back. Netdecking tryhards were enraged that clever players with not so great decks could bait them into losing and climb the ranks.

Now you have to be a netdecking tryhard with a fully kitted out setup to get anywhere, which is a drastic improvement for them.

Too bad for new players or people who get shit kegs though.

Clear Skies is going back to eliminating *all* weather on the field and some Monster cards are being changed to only causing weather on *their* side of the field.

The first change is gonna fuck weather completely. It also means that smart players can't do shit like make Monsters play their Foglets after passing so they lose their buffed mega-critter, and the one potential counter to row-stacking Consume is gone entirely.

Clear Skies is now literally better than Silver weathers, and they had to completely do Rag Nah Roog because otherwise a Bronze card would completely fuck over a Gold.

The way weather used to work was fine, it's just that people were super mad about having to take First Light in decks other than Elf spam bullshit.

Bronze v Bronze is fine. I have no issue with Clear Skies getting rid of weather on one row, though it could be interesting to make it one row /of your choosing/ so if your enemy has fucked up their Melee row to reduce yours further they'd have to deal with it.

No, weather didn't work as intended. CDPR has all the data of the games being played and I am certain that weather is the most punishing mechanic in the game that basically makes people leave the game.

I have 2 friends playing the close beta now and both are really low ranked players, they hate weather because on the starting cards they get punished so much by it that it isn't fun for them to play the game, I think one has completely stop playing the game. Sure they are casual as fuck about the game but they could have been interested in playing it if weather wasn't such a punishing mechanic for players that don't understand the game.

Sure people that survive that initial reception learn how to play around weather and learn to build a deck that could counter weather with more than just 3 FL but that takes time and usually the most casual players will just leave the game and not bother with it.

Most changes done are precisely to not make certain cards being oppressive enough to new players that will hurt CDPR bottom line.

Still, a ~85% winrate, which is nice. But I have over 15.000 over me.
Most of those defeats are because I played a few ranked matches when it was implemented using my Neophyte deck, with Isengrim, Toruviel, dragoons, Aelirenn, etc...
I got recked 4 or 5 times in a row.

Man greedy AR and buff decks just dont seem to work for me.
So far every single game out of 15, opponents always have an answer in 1st round to 3 AR units.

Is not supposed to be a serious deck, but I've tried playing it and won 6/7 times.
Lost only to SK discard cause I miscalculated in the third round.
Kicked Radovid's ass (top player), NG players disconnected, and overpowered 2 ST players 2-0.

I need more way to mill trough my deck. The most obvious is taking out Ocvist and adding Last Wish, but that brings nothing to the board and I don't like that in this deck...

I'm also not sure about the Gold cards.
Regis is a bit of a must, but don't know about the others...

Nekkers, the only good breeding target is becoming non-breedable, so I'd say pick either Dragoon or Enfrocers. You already have a Dragoon, so two should be enough to use in a deck.

the idea is you play 1 nekker then some nekker warriors to add more nekkers into your deck

you then use nest to make nekkers on the field and buff them all by eating your units

you can go all out that round and next round you will pull out the buffed nekkers from your deck making it hard for the opponent to come back and win

Weather is such a fun mechanic.
No matter how much behind you are, you can always win. Because you are so good at this game and drawing weather cards when you need them.
