I have mixed feelings. Dragoncraft needed a card or two to be more viable, but introducing even more broken board wipe than already broken themis is the last thing that this game needed. Dragon still doesn't have a way to deal with dshift properly though, so maybe ranked will consist of dragons, dshift and random aggro.

I have no idea if you're talking about ramp dragon or just dragoncraft as a craft including face dragon. If it's the latter your argument is irrelevant because only ramp will run this card to begin with.

Ramp dragon isn't in an unwinnable spot against Dshift, but the only way you can really win is if they waste their damage spells on Unicas and the like, and have rather bad draw. That way you can start slamming down GMDs and Imprisoned Dragons in hopes of avoiding +28 damage to face. You still most likely die to two shifts and two destroyers, but just one shift will never kill you, and you might even survive two at full defense and two wards.

That, and you're still going to be having a rough time trying to kill them because Bahamut is effectively suicide because it opens you up to some destroyer-to-face action.

Kill them on turn 7. Ramp is hugely inefficient at beating D Shift's clock, all that time (and deck space) spent on ramping takes away from the win con, which is face damage. Congrats, this is the one dragon deck that has a legitimate chance against D Shift. It's not a control matchup so D Shift shouldn't feel too bad about this. Still, it's not full aggro deck either, so if the face dragon player doesn't draw most of their fortes by 5-6 they will still lose.

It is, either directly or indirectly.

Without it, the enemy doesn't have to hold onto hard removal. It flat out wins you the game if it sticks and people know you run it. If you pressured them enough to have them waste it on other things by curving and ramping well, it just wins you the game.

It also prevents them from just shitting out a 2-3 followers immediately after it is played because they have to use pp to actually remove it.

Not to say I'm trying to argue that the new card isn't incredibly good. I'm just saying that the body Bahamut has is actually very very relevant.

I'll tend to save my mushusshu up until turn 5 or so, unless I have nothing else to play. By that time they are usually lacking in removal and can only remove 1 mushushu at best. I'll always have at least 2 Mushushu in my hand due to Goblin Mages and Feena fetching them.

Also Aiela is great in face because she is both a body on the board and a ramp, she is not a worthless "do nothing this turn" card like Oracle, having her allows you to reach your Fortes earlier which can be very beneficial depending on what you are playing against. Also as I said they never remove it so its free face damage, Aiela is an anti ward.
