Resilience lets you heal back up to healthy one more time. (assuming they go through with the healing change)

This is Not Happening gives 9/10/12% faster action speed while injured, 30% bigger skill checks, and skill checks happen slightly/moderately/considerably more often.

I really only find autoaim bothersome when lunging at 2 people who are basically inside of eachother immediately after being unhooked. I'd obviously want the one who I can just throw back on the hook in 1 hit, but sometimes it just doesn't work no matter how hard I try to get em.

I'm not really sure if autoaim helps or hurts when flicking your screen to hit someone who went past you or around a corner. Hard to tell.

its super easy as billy to bait an unhook and land your chainsaw on the full-health survivor doing the rescue. nets you your first of 2-3 hooks on the initial hooked person, and your first hook on the 2nd hooked person
if you dont hook each survivor multiple points for those 28k games then you're doing it wrong.

so if a facecamping billy is "then norm" you find, you're either a salty survivorcuck redundant or i'm on track for higher ranks.

Been a while since I've gotten killer salt. Started out by getting found by this myers pretty quickly and not expecting him to make predictions he downed me pretty quickly. I got saved but my teammates were fairly new and allergic to generators so they started going down pretty quickly once he realized he could pretty much stalk them for free ew3's. We had no gens left by the time they all went down so I was presented with the task of fixing two gens all by my lonesome. I did manage to get one up and kept juking him and losing him for a good twenty minutes. Unfortunately he caught me out at a pretty bad spot so I got downed and hooked. Then he hits me with this in the post-game chat. Considering throwing up the whole match since I was recording with OBS for dank webms but probably not worth it since I assume he's already blocked me.

They throw you off, they're so erratic and don't do anything logical.

Point still stands. Most people don't play the trapper to his full potential, or even attempt to.

Think about it, if you're not "proximity camping" that is, staying near a hooked survivor close enough that if you hear the trap get disarmed you can get back to get a hit in basically for free, then putting a trap underfoot is pretty useless and a waste of a trap, 99% of the time it gets disarmed anyway. But people either just camp with him, or it's too hard to think past "trap the hook"

This is also mostly why I get no salt in post game. any time someone steps in one of my traps it's because it was a good unexpected trap spot. I get a lot of "good trapper" comments more than any kind of whining.

Still like survivor more, the points are killin me though.

He has more highs and lows. Orange-coloured Jake is practically invisible in the cornfield, but not so much elsewhere. His greens are useful on some maps but not others.

Claudette's washed out colour scheme doesn't have the same highs as Jake at his best, but it's rare that she doesn't have at least some sort of advantage.

If someone is getting unhooked, do I just wait for it and try to hit the unhooked one, do I hit the unhooker while unhooking, can I pull the unhooker off?

I've seen people pull the unhooker off, or hit them and it cancels the unhooking, but I'm not sure if that always works or if it has to do with timing.

Also, if I hit after the unhook, I always somehow land on the unhooker, not the unhooked.

How do you play this situation correctly?

Like previously said, it's a LOT easier if you get him in an animation instead of trying to intercept them while moving. You also gotta kinda aim for like the chin, it's a little strange but you get used to it and get better at it eventually.

In this webm is just a normal flashlight with no add-ons, and the killer didn't have either shadowborne or lightborne for reference.

if you catch them in the unhooking animation, you can pull off the unhooker directly onto your shoulder
however, most players bait that with a quick unhook that they cancel, so you usually end up hitting them.
personally, i like to give the person who just got unhooked a fighting chance so i tend to go after the unhooker; if you want faster kills then you can stand closer to the hook and wait for the unhook to be mostly done and then swing for the person who was just unhooked for an instant re-down (unless they run borrowed time)
