If you wanna build a powerful control deck out of the box, you'll have to reroll into 2-3 legendaries for that class, then do all the achievements for private matches and elite ai and you'll have a powerful starting collection for at least one deck that'll shit on aggro and get shit on by d shift

You can finish all the starter shit then vial everything but that class for a control deck but then you can't do dailies in any capacity for a month+ or play anything else which just isn't worth it compared to just playing the game with cheap aggro/midrange lists until you can perpetual arena a card libraryfor the cards and vials to play whatever you want.

Look up budget deck lists and look over what you have and put together some crapass deck and play some ranked to get your dick wet

From here it depends If you reliably went 3 wins 2 losses in arena, you'll want to turn your gold into arena tickets to get +50-100% more of your value Keep updating a deck for each leader as you unpack cards and do every daily Turn that gold into more tickets Log in daily for the login reward You should be getting 10-20 packs a weeks Buy some DE and a few Baha packs at some point If you want, save up some gold for the Bahamut ticket arena reward event at some point to rake in and clear out the cards you need from that set If you can't reliably 3-2, do NOT buy tickets You'll just piss away your dosh and time. Or just buy straight packs cause you hate yourself

Don't liquefy your cards in general Between your welfare packs and the ez grab packs followed by all the added tickets and packs from getting 3-5 wins per ticket you'll have enough for about 4 budget decks from liquefy extras that you glue together with golds and silvers to do ranked Every week between cheevos, levelups, score rewards, dailies, and winning arena to double your money to buy more tickets you'll get about 10-20 packs a week Within a month you can play knockoffs of about 12-ish decks and have most of a couple good decks on rng Once you fill out most of your card pool the vials will start pouring in from the extras From that experience you'll know what you want be able to craft from your liquefied extras while still being able to play a bunch of budgets

They do well in general. Everyone in this board is obsessed with D-Shift, Daria, and Swordcraft. However, I've climbed with nothing but Control Blood Dirtcraft and a dream. I know others that have done the same. If you want a control deck out of the box, your best bet would be to reroll until you have 2-3 staple legendaries. You should also consider taking a look at the pre-built decks if you think you'll be spending money at any point, they are a good value. They contain 2 useful legendaries (sometimes) and often contain staple golds that are important in the meta.

Do note that we have a new expansion coming in 10 days, so the entire meta and many of the decks will be changing soon. You may want to wait.

Tickets can only be redeemed for certain types of packs. Standard tickets provide cards in the base set, RoB tickets give you cards in the Bahamut set, and so on. When the new expansion comes out, we'll be given tickets for those, so go ahead and turn yours in.

If you happen to be the new guy asking about rerolling, the key cards to grab here are the Prince of Darkness, and at least 1 Bahamut, they are staples that are played in almost every control deck. You may also want to try for 2-3 of the golds

I don't personally use her, but also keep an eye out for Sun Oracle Pascale, she is used sometimes. Dirt can be fun, but it can also be a painfully slow climb. To be honest, it's not a very beginner friendly deck either. It's hard to pilot, and very draw dependent. You win almost all aggro games assuming you don't brick, which does happen in dirt. Control matchups are pretty rough unless you can get Prince of Darkness off relatively quick.

This is by no means the only way to build it, their are cheaper versions, and other legendaries that get tech'd in, but this is how I've played 150+ games with a 57% winrate.
