What quest mod is that in your recent tumblr pics? Is it good?

I modified my load order, removing mods that altered city layouts, removing mods that incorporated a ton of new world encounters etc, removed mods that added systems that were script heavy.

My game has gone from crashing every 5 minutes to not crashing after 5 hours of play.

I need to get better at stabilizing my load order with those other types of mods though. However its amazing how fun/playable Skyrim is when its not fucking crashing constantly. Also SPERG is awesome.

I don't think I would recommend it, but I'm not finished yet. It forces you to wear a pirate uniform and you can't remove it without console. Then you have a fight at sea with some imperial soldiers that could be neat I suppose, but it was bugged for me. Half of the enemies fell off the ramparts and the quest didn't progress until I killed all of them with console.

The island is nice though. I think its nearly comparable to Azura's Watch on that first beach. Its pretty. It has a forsworn encampment for some reason. And the temple at the end is a mess. Floating grass, way too many shadow casters so they're constantly flickering, bad navmesh, enemies constantly walking off ledges and falling to their death, and loads of falling rock particle effects doing nothing to help the already abysmal framerate.

I think its 100% voice acted too but those have been pretty bad so far.

I have bad depression though. Even medication isn't enough to stop it completely. It isn't really, summons are OP as shit because of how powerful they are for how little investment you need to input into them.

If summons were reworked to be sort of a combination of smithing/enchanting and followers, using reagents to craft a permanent (until death) follower with intrinsics based on materials used, I think it would be better. I think Oblivion had a barebones version of the system I would like in Shivering Isle for creating some guardian after you kill it.

I'm not saying it's perfect in the balance department, since you went from "pretty good flame girl" to like really OP summons very fast. The leveling is obviously also flawed, since you also had so few spells.

HOWEVER, if you want to be a summoner in any game that's not arpg, TES is basically your only option. Most summons in other games (singleplayer or MMO) are either basically extra damage over time spells, or very supplementary stuff like in ESO.

Also, having "OP" summons in a singleplayer game is not even objectively bad.

Hm, not sure, I never got into anything that intricate. There might be a mod for that already or it may be a feature of a larger enchanting or magic overhaul mod.

I'm almost certain there's a mod that would let you enchant anywhere and just upgrade the weapon as the skill level increases if nothing else. That leads me to believe that there's some way to set it up so that the weapon automatically upgrades (or degrades) to correspond to changes in the skill level.
