Manaketes don't exactly die instantly when at a color disadvantage unless falchion or naga are involved. You're much better off looking for something like deathblow, life and death, or defiant attack to boost offenses. In Corrin's case, you want to play her more defensively because she's got that tank color and dark breath. HP+5 is deceptively good as that prevents a lot of 2HKO's while armored/warding blow makes you tankier. Just make sure you have swordbreaker to beat lucina.

Looks like 26 atk is a sweet spot for Henry to start actually hurting things as opposed to scratching them for 1 damage here and there, and at current level 38 with:

Linde is strong but Azura honestly brings more to the table. She can posture and position on the map more effectively than Linde due to Sapphire Lance and has Dance support. Linde is an unparalleled nuke but she's hardly alone in that category. She also has some decent utility but nothing will ever compare to what Dance/Sing does for a comp.

Also, Blue Tomebreaker is probably one of the most common skills I see.

For Lucina I've been thinking about Renewal, since she's a frontline unit that takes quite a bit of damage, and it kinda synergizes with Falchion.

That's it, I'm dropping Gaiden. I can't take this anymore. I haven't played Fates yet, but so far Gaiden is in my opinion the only Fire Emblem game that is actually, legitimately, really bad.

Fire Emblem 1 is slow and outdated, but at least it's still an ok game underneath. Gaiden is just trash all around (except for the music).

I made me really curious about Shadow of Valentia though. If it's just as faithful to FE2 as Shadow Dragon is to FE1, we're looking at an incredible disaster in the making. I wonder what they will be changing.
