Got a question regarding one of the setting elements revealed near the ending, it's been bugging me since finishing the game.
Who set up the back door to allow the machines access to essentially reset the YoRHa until their next upgrade such that they would never win against the machines? I get that the machines explicitly have this in their interest, but entries from the copied library seem to point toward this as at least in part set up by the human/android side. Maybe I'm missing something here but it could also be just another yet unexplained section.

My answer to that is: when you move a file it is copied and then the original is deleted. Do you consider that file to be the same? Functionally, yes they are the same file.

It just feels weird to apply digital constraints to what was previously just an organic sense of the human continuity.

This doesn't really match what Pascal says though, doesn't it? If so then that dialogue portion would be contradictory, since they could actually revive a dead machine just with their memories. I think, logically, that would happen to androids too. I think the teleportation is more of a gimmick, otherwise it would be really easy for them to build things on the surface instead of having people do orbital landings.

I played my first playthrough withou any wiki and advice.

So if I skipped Emil's head and a couple of things on route A i am already locked out of them and cant get them on B so i will be locked out of Route E?

How the flying fuck I can get out of Emil's cave? I can take his mask and when I go out there is no way I cun jum the corridor back to the elevator.

How viable is using Caim's Sword until the end of the game? The way weapon upgrading works in this game is annoying. I'm currently in Chapter 3 Verse XIV and the sword does its job well at the moment, but I don't imagine it'll stay that way in later chapters.

2B is the vanilla playthrough. You can still get wowed by the scenic vistas, the Machine War setting and the neat melee combat. The main characters are nothing special (yet) but there's some gems in the sidequest material.

The 9S part starts dropping lore info on you and I found him quite nice to control when you frequently switch between hacking and spear/bracers.

After that it gets all fucked

so i finished the storyline. endings A B C G.

what should i do now. get the rest of the endings? should i start a new playthrough or do everything through the chapter select?
Is there any reason to play on Hard/Very Hard?
I did continue the game and it started the game again on normal and all the enemies are level 1 and get 1 shot. i guess i am supposed to play on hard from now on at minimum?

You need to keep in mind that this is a JRPG and not an action game. If something can't be done at a low level, it's probably on purpose and is intended to be late game content.

Ok so uhh

After downloading for game for over 4 days due to horrible internet, I finally booted up the PC version for the first time

Everytime I alt tab the game switches to windowed mode and when I put it on fullscreen it gets ridiculously blurry (like, when you play a game on the wrong resolution), despite being 1920x1080.

No. Diamond is THE lowest possible space it can take.
If you shove a diamond cost 4 and a normal cost 5 together the end result will usually be a 5 instead of it being 2 normal cost 5's ending up being 6 so its still economical.

Failed first 6 times because I fell off the tree.
Then saw that you can jump up a tree behind the house and skip 99% of platforming.
Second one if you avoid roofs and go around and jump on tree and do it all flawlessly you should be able to beat the sanic.
I messed up a bit and lost to sanic by like 0.3 seconds.
0 movement chips btw since I can't figure out how to change chipsets.
What I've done is failed the run once and then looked around for alternative routes.

The wipe option means he'll just pick up with village making which is just a slow burn till he recognized the core and parts he sold as the characters the network spews out in the previous iterations.
You're just making him build a happy life only for it to shatter tragically again at some point and the new villagers suffer along with it.

But here. Lets use an example.

Say i make you kill your family then wipe your memory of it and ressurect them also wiped of this event.
Now i do that to you every day.
One day i say fuck it and let the world keep spinning for you to just live a normal life.

Am i an evil person for this? Did you not suffer because of this? Did the wipe actually justify itself?
Now imagine i left JUST enough evidence for you all to piece this shit together somewhat eventually.

Its THE worst choice objectively and subjectively.
