When I was a jungle main I treated Yasuo as a free win. Just sit on them regardless of which team they are on.

All Yasuo players do the same shit. They'll dash forward past minions to harass, at which point you walk in and slaughter them. Then they'll go even more aggro to try and make back their deficit, so you just kill them again.

Alternatively, if they are on your team you just camp the shit out of them so there's no consequence for their stupid aggro.

Ive been told that normals is a very bad way to practice (despite having again put in 150+ games into it this season), because people never really try in that mode. I was told that ranked is the absolute best way to practice because of that reason. That once I stopped giving a shit about my LP points, k/d/a ratio, and w/r ratio and solely focus on improving that I would do just so. So that's what Ive been doing, in conjuction with everything else I put in previous response. I'm just not improving. I did that aswell, my first season of playing I went from Bronze 2 placement to Gold 5 with Annie. The trick to Annie is that even though you can cs with Q, you should be csing with autos whenever possible. You want stun q up as often as possible to punish mispositioning.

Don't always do that, try to ward one side of the lane and hug the safe vision so you're harder to gank. Against heroes that try to push and harass with spells such as zed q, ahri q don't stand in the wave at all so they have to choose between pushing and harassing
Ward around 2:10 so you don't need to be facechecking while junglers are level 3
You don't need to see them, you should just know where they are. Enemy midlaner health doesn't matter, what matters is the lane state. Is there currently a wave? How long until the next wave? How many waves will I miss throughout the round-trip? Can another teammate rotate to catch the wave I'm missing? All of these are considerations

So from your response you don't know the basics of mid lane and that's your main problem.

The first part of laning phase is the race to level two. You are playing Annie, so you should race against every single mid laner in the game, since she has excellent base damages. The single greatest disparity strength that most matchups will ever see is when one person is level 2 and the other is level 1. When I would mid I would rush for level 2, then immediately blow my combo and ignite the enemy if they didn't respect the level advantage.

If you have the level advantage most champions can't fight back. They can only passively take it or avoid. If they avoid you can zone them out of a few CS, if they passively take it then you've just wasted a pot and are now ahead in the sustain game and can work towards forcing them out and crashing a wave on tower.

Trying to win lane starts immediately. That pot advantage means they recall first, which lets you deny them a wave by shoving to their tower, which gives you an EXP lead, which lets you hit six first, which is when you kill them because you are Annie.

This is literally 50% of why you are getting shit on and sucking.

Annie is actually very difficult to play. Mechanical difficulty isn't really relevant because nothing in this game is super complex, difficulty is just a measure of a hero's ability to impact the game towards a win.

Annie is a very short ranged, immobile hero who is extremely flash reliant and vulnerable to being poked, picked, and ganked. She has very little going for her, and most of the top tier roster can punish her short range mercilessly. It's very difficult to succeed with her against competent opponents, even though she isn't mechanically complex. Annie is hard to play.

BC is better armor shred early on because it shreds all armor, not just bonus armor, and she applies cleaver stacks to the whole enemy team so her teammates can benefit off of it. It also gives her a bit more survivability and the build rushed BoTRK (which is a better laning phase and more power early) and not ER.

Just getting back into league after a long time. My main, GP, was completely reworked and doesn't play like he used to.

I'm looking for a hero to pick up (prefer someone who can play top and mid though either or is fine) who is similar to pre-rework GP. In other words, looking for someone that has easy poke, good cross-lane pressure (but that isn't mandatory), and has a strong late game from good early-game farm.
