Links require lots of materials, 3 or 4 to make a good one, so their monsters should be spamming tokens or at least summoning things from the Graveyard to maintain the card advantage.

How do they plan to summon something like Firewall Dragon? By going -3? And Firewall Dragon requires mutual links to work, so they have to summon even more Link monsters.

I personally dont have a side yet, and I run omega. that maindeck is just pretty close to what im running. are there any combos in this deck that arent obvious? and I guess ties is to get out skull servant stuff. If i were to use it (which I wouldnt) id hit uni, skull servant, or lady to fetch the other two, then use uni to drop prince then prince to drop another skull and lady to boost king up by 3k.

however, not being able to battle and costing 2k just makes it a shitty soul charge, but I guess since you could turn 1 it, it could help if you arent drawing left arm or lawnmowing enough.

Activate Scape Goat on your opponent's end phase.
Make a Link Spider with one of the Goat tokens.
Normal summon Cyverse Gadget and Special Summon Bittron or whatever.

Now make Firewall Dragon under your Link Spider using your Goat Tokens and Cyverse Gadget and place your Gadget Token on the field.
Now make Honeybot next to Firewall using Spider and your Gadget Token.
This activates Firewall's second effect so special summon whatever from your hand.
Now make another Spider using your Bittron or whatever and place it above Firewall.

Now make another Honeybot or another Left-Right Link 2 monster using the monsters you special summoned with Firewall.

Now you have a Firewall with 3 mutual links. So pick up 3 desirable targets from your graveyard and or bounce the shit out of your opponent. And from this point the potential plays you can do are simply vast.

If you want a beater and target protection you can make Decode Talker above Firewall using a Honeybot and your Spider. And this once again should trigger Firewall's effect allowing you to special summon whatever from your hand.
Or you can even use both your Link2s to summon another Link4 including another Firewall if you so were to feel like it. Which again should activate your Firewall's effect allowing you to special summon whatever from your hand. And since Firewall's first effect isn't even hard OPT you can even re-use it and pick up even more cards.

You can easily use said cards do Xyz or Synchro or whatever. And if you have fusion spells or monsters with fusion effects in your hand then Fusion is naturally game too. And if you Synchro and Fusion with a material next to Firewall you can summon yet another card from your hand.
Firewall really does look like it's quite something. While giving you a full board of monsters.

I'd also like to point out that cards like RAM Clouder can revive spent Link Monsters while simultaneously trigger Firewall's ability yet again. So if you summon RAM Clouder from your hand you can bring back your Honeybot or whatever you used for Link climbing and then get to special summon yet another card from your hand.
And since you can pick up whatever you want from your graveyard using Firewall before you special summon said cards using Firewall you can easily pick the combo pieces needed for the combos of your choice. While also getting them onto the field, while simultaneously summoning other monsters. All thanks to Firewall.

If you have Gofu, Cyverse Gadget, and Bittron you can do it without Scapegoat.
And I know that Gofu just got limited. But you can do this with a number of different combos for as long as you can fill your board with almost whatever.

Of course that's a more specific combo using more specific cards. But the upside is that you don't need to rely on your opponent turn like with Scapegoat.

Most MTG formats are garbage. Standard literally forces you to buy new shit, not by powercreep or key cards getting hit, but by your cards being banned by set after time, and is fairly boring. Modern is overpowered, expensive cancer (as is Legacy). The only fun format is Commander, and it's not even competitive. Well. They can easily summon links instead of Xyzs. Which still sends the materials to the graveyard allowing you to benefit from their effects to access stun or additional combo pieces or whatever.
Even with the plain old Break Sword you can use Break Sword to pop itself like usual, bring back a couple of Phantom Knights. And then make a Dark Link with them which we're bound to get.

And the traps resurrecting phantom knights should make additional plays a reality.
Of course this relies on good Dark Links but they shouldn't be too affected by having limited EMZs, and stun itself should be as strong as ever. I wouldn't just give up on them at the very least.

Want to get into yugioh, heard that a good way to get into the game is to buy 3x structure decks. Tried and google it but it was all reddit posts from 3 years so I don't think that the information there is still good.

I'll cut to the chase here: None of the structure decks available right now besides D/D/D are really worth it and D/D/D will literally DIE on July with Links. It is a good investment still because its cheap as fuck and even getting additional cards (excluding Crystal Wings) is also cheap, but you gotta beware of that.


Also the best way to get generic good cards is to buy structure decks or complete decks from people. That's in general anyway, I prefer to just buy the shit I need card by card.
