What kind of aesthetics are you guys hoping for in the new zones? I'd really like the underwater zones to have a wide variety of cave systems or flora that can be harvested with botany. I know we're getting underwater fishing(possibly with nets?) but being able to harvest something like water caltrops or soft coral would be neat. It'd be even cooler if you could only find certain fish by specific plants.

No, the shorts remind me of big poofy child clothes that you're meant to grow into, not a skirt. You can clearly see the cloth bunch up around the model's pelvis and poof out like a pair of flowy shorts. It looks alright on that specific model, but try to imagine what it would look like on a Highlander male. Armor has to look good(or passable) on every race, not just the cute small ones. That's the point of armor design in a game with multiple races that are vastly different.

It's not the hardest to play, it's one of the easiest to play.
It has a free form rotation, you can have passable DPS by pressing whatever buttons you want. But you have to react and have decision making in what buttons you press, because on level 60 BRD you're basically bleeding potency constantly with how you're meant to play the class so you have to weigh situations differently, react to procs and keep track of the timing that your DoTs tick so you can judge if a proc will happen and if it's OK to let your proc stay off CD or not.
It's easy for the same reason it's hard. Summoner is the same way, but people are mostly torn on their opinions. Some people think it's hard to have a rigid rotation that never changes, that you can map to muscle memory but get punished hard if you mess it up, and others think that's easy.

Just remember that BRD hardly gets punished for mistakes. But on a class like BLM you lose a ton of DPS if you lose enochian. It's just a matter of opinion, good players can map things to muscle memory to the point that they can do their BLM rotation in their sleep, but they don't realize that not everybody is practiced enough to do that, but either way it makes things out to be "easy" because it's very easy for them.
For people who don't have time to learn so much it's a lot easier to see the difficulty in a class like BLM where you are directly punished for a mistake, whereas with no rotation you practically don't even know when you made a mistake.

Hardest to play on a top level? Yes, mainly due to understanding proper bloodletter usage, though there are a lot of other factors too but that's the main aspect what makes the difference between good and amazing bards.
If anyone tells you it's easy then they're either not playing it well or they just have no clue in general.

I pretty much quit MCH when I got the single target turret, and when I tried out the AoE turret in POTD. I forgot to put them out in over half the fights, and when I forgot it during the boss fight and my friend asked I lost it and swore off the job.
