You know what would be really useful? Being able to see just how well my teammates are doing so I can tell them to switch heroes if needed. It seems I can't do anything in ranked, after my main girl Dva was nerfed, so should I just go full cuck and play Mercy? I tried it yesterday, and it was very discouraging: the DPS heroes I was boosting could not hit shit, and in general it's boring as fuck to just follow people...

Why doesn't Mercy have ultra mobility, or something? She has wings, she should be able to flap them about and make dashes in any direction. Then she'd be at least moderately fun.

She does good damage. She has a stun that is a guaranteed kill. She heals more than the dedicated healer support and has more offensive utility than the dedicated offensive support. Denying healing completely is fucking insanely good. She can toss a grenade at herself to burst heal 100 and then damage everyone in a retarded big radius. She's the hardest support to kill. Zenyatta is kinda bad because his discord was gutted and his personal damage isn't that great so he really is just a weak dps with some heal utility. Having a great ultimate helps out a bit though.

Mercy is just the "press Q to make the game worse" class. Res is an awful, terrible ability to play against but she's helpless otherwise.

Lucio has been nerfed so much he's boring and kinda anemic feeling now but he's the only one with speed so whatever.

Her hook might be useful if there were some decent places she could go. For having a grapple hook, one would expect widowmaker to be able to quickly get to high ground and attack from unexpected positions. Instead, maps limit her to taking the same positions any other long range character could take.

Widow would be decent if there were actually nooks and crannies she could position herself in that could only be reached by her, Winston, Reaper, Mercy, D.va and Phara.
