I get that N is for a charge attack during the "regular" phase, OD is a charge attack during overdrive, and TR happens when you do something like using Rage on Celeste, but does N+OD mean those attacks can simply happen any time the boss has full diamonds?

The only time colo is comparable is with Korwa but even then it's rarely anywhere close.

Are you a newbie? Think about it like this. The damage formula wants to be BALANCED. This means pairing an element summon and a magna summon. If you use Ifrit, you're fucking stuck with a 40%/50%/60 piece of trash, then someone else's colossus, or you overflow the elemental modifier. So you take Colossus and take your chances finding a support summon with Shiva or a MLB'd Athena and balance the formula out.

Go to Athena right away. She (very rarely) will drop you colo sticks, and you will get the rest you need from hosting colo on magnafest. Don't farm him any more.
You want 2-3 spears depending on your love of DATA (and if you're going to ticket a gulleye - I wouldn't reccomend it) and a MLB sword to offset the spear HP penalty.
Other than that, pick up your katana for an easy stopgap until you're replacing shit with fingers (celestials re-runs in April) and go nuts on Xeno when it appears again.
If you want to prepare for Xeno, start farming Snek now, and make sure you have Lily ready.

The drop rate for the best weapons is really bad. One of your grids needs to have at least 20 of the same weapon, then add Unknowns and Normal weapons. Repeat that 5 times to complete all elements. Don't forget you need to max skill level them. This should be done slowly, starting with only one element. Mainly because it's pure RNG, you don't have control over what you get except when you exchange pendants. So if you're impatient you'll get frustrated easily.

Even my water magna sr weapon grid let me farm through EX/NM70 pretty easily, my wind grid is better and looks more prepared but i just can't find the right pattern to grind through EX/NM70 safely. Only got 2 harps so far and that's it, i won't do this event anymore.

I use this team. It still need more swords but it usually gets by. Zoi still demolishes. With amira most times I just press abl one because 3 desyncs the ougi more than i like with warlock. You can replace juilet with ferri but I'm not a fan of her skillset. If you can use her abl3 she's way better but this tends to go faster and this just lets me mash less buttons without worrying about having everyone at 100 and losing spliting soul. The problem with ferri is that she's an 800k boost every 6 turns and I get two ogui more times with this build while lucio does 1.6m every five turns. Amira maximizes DATA ability and juilet lets you buff well.
