Man Blizzard really fucked up the QP matchmaking, I need to force myself to play ranked again or something.

Got a game where my team was me at around level 300, one dude at 60, and everyone else under 20. And they didn't play like smurfs, since I gold healing as S76 with an ana on my team(and ana was the level 60). The enemies were closer to 100 on average, with one dude similarly higher. I tryharded a bit and we won, but it was... interesting.

Then there was the game where most people had around my level, but there was a dude on my team with level around 60, and a dude on the other team with level around 70... just with a gold border. That one was less fun since he was also actually a good sniper.

I know level doesn't equal skill and all that, but it used to be, I got players mostly with 100 levels of me, so I dunno what happened.

I main winston.

His ult is good if you need a last second stall or if the enemy is near ledges.

But it's bad otherwise since you deal less DPS unless you land your jumps. But if you take time to jump up so you can aim your lands then that's wasting time your ult time, if you just press shift your ult will most likely not hit anything since it's wonky to aim.

Winston's ult is also overshadowed by roadhogs ult which is much easier to aim and deals much more damage. Though it does not come with extra health it's still overall better.

Another problem winston's ult has is CC a single junkrat trap or Ana sleep dart can ruin your ult, and since winston is such a big target it's easy to CC him.

The best way to buff winstons ult is to make him immune to CC, if you change the range then he can knock people around too much. This will also help since roadhog can't remove half your health with hook plus 1 shot.

I have not had fun with this game for the past 100h playtime or so. Still really dont.

I used to think Sombra is a meme pick, but I started playing her on __qp and I am having a blast.

Obviously the retards are incapable of getting free kills off EMP most of the time, but apparently she can hold her own pretty well. I am still learning and I am a gold shitter myself, so I don't claim I know shit about anything.

He just needs a niche that sets him apart as a reason to pick him over other DPS. Blizzard designed him with a number of niches that other heroes don't have. Any one of these could be expanded or buffed to provide better reason to play him:

*his ability to reach any part of the map
*his unrivaled damage in CQC
*his high health pool
*his ability to become invincible and escape gravitons
*his ability to self-sustain through dead-person-orbs

These niches are all currently too weak to justify the character's flaws. However, if you buffed one then he could be picked in some situations.

My proposal would be to add damage vamp onto his normal gun and remove the dead-person-orbs mechanic. Rewarding Reaper with HP after a kill is a good concept, but it doesn't improve any of his matchups against tanks, which is supposed to be his expertise. Giving Reaper a small amount of health vamp on every shot would improve his 1v1 capabilities with enemy tanks and give a reason to pick him. Reaper also earns the HP by hitting the shot, so it's not like you are rewarding bad play or something.

That's why you're not supposed to be so overextended that you can't walk back to your team in time. You over extend shortly and then phase out when danger appears.

I really don't think making Reaper a risk-free hero is the way to fix him. His overextension/phase timer balance is one of the few interesting things going for him

I noticed I'm doing this too. Barely played season 1, only did because it was new and exciting but thought I wasn't good enough at the game yet so I stopped. Probably only about 3 hours total played. Season 2 was my most played. Had a good group I played with. About 50 hours played. Season 3 I played a bit less and started taking more breaks more often. I'd play for a few weeks then take a month or little less off then play again. Only played with 1 guy from that original group. About 30 hours played. Season 4 now I think I'll have even less comp time than season 3. That's the way it seems. When I did play comp I played for about 3 hours a day but now I'm in there for like 1 or less before saying fuck it and either stop playing the game or just switch to quickplay. Sometimes get a good win streak going so I will play until that ends

It still seems like we are drowning in endless origin stories and personal backgrounds in an universe that has cowboys fighting ninjas with gorillas taking over the moon, and it's all on the edge of another world war breaking out.

HOW the fuck do you deal with Pharah/Mercy on maps like Anubis or Ilios? There is so much fucking shit that they can hide behind, pharah can play the distance game while your shots have drop-off damage, and pharah is a small target anyway.

Don't say "aim better" because I am a Master mccree and i still can't do it. The map design in this game is fucking garbage and some maps give pharah infinite obstacles to hide behind in while raining down rockets into the 2-square-foot area you are allowed to walk in because blizzard loves chokes :)
