When people are saying SnS is good for KO, do they point at shoryugeki or KO phial? Because I'm having a hard time to KO using phial since SnS slashes are too low and often doesn't reach the head due to moving heads. Shoryugeki also seems to only works on the first KO. CB and hammer seems to be able to KO reliably.

I want to be optimistic about this, but I'm a bit worried about its implementation.

It sounds like it's a hard transmog applied to individual armor pieces instead of cosmetic slots, which is already a step in the wrong direction. It might not let you attach one appearance to more than one other piece at a time, and you likely won't be able to save different appearances to the same item used across multiple sets(e.g. mogging a silver sol chestpiece to a zinogre chestpiece will leave it that way on every set it's saved to).

It also has a price attached beyond zenny and simply owning both items, and depending on how much of a pain these horns coins are to get it could be tedious to mog a large number of sets or to frequently change your look.

Generally keeping cats and AI hunters on is preferable when you're alone regardless how you feel about their damage.

As long as they AI hunters are toggled on they'll get you extra carves regardless if they showed up on the quest or not (expect for the solo only ones like Luna and Monoblos), and if your cat shows up in the quest itself it'll get an extra break drop. Both combined make part grinding much easier.
