I think people understand that slows on a kit are just par-course and so long as they dont get TOO out of hand (Nunu) nobody really minds. The main difference between Fiora and other "SLAYERS" like Master Yi,Riven and Yasuo is that Fiora really only needs bulk AD because her kit compensates her other stats such as lifesteal,Critical strike and attack speed.This allows Fiora to go pure HP/AD builds and be ridiculously hard to kill while simultaneously shredding and ripping through every target. She is deadly to ALL targets and not just tanks which makes her obnoxious as fuck all to deal with.

But another key aspect in this entire argument that I think your forgetting is that Fiora was a fairly recent update whereas Master Yi is a Beta-Season1 champion. Its really hard to compare and contrast the two when riots pillars of healthy champion design and balance grew in between those time frames.

They merely adapted his kit slightly for his updated VGU.

the argument "just CC them implys one of two things"

Either Scenerio A:
You have enough crowd controls to keep your target from taking any action until he is dead. You took out your target but HE did not get to interact with anything or anybody at all. this results in the person playing the dead champion extremely frustrated not having any fun.

OR Scenario B.

You have no Hard crowd controls that can be used and Champion A runs train on you. (lets say he had Master Yi and you had Jhin)

Now the player who did not get to protect himself in any reasonable way shape or form is left stressed and angry that he didnt get to play the game.

lets look Riots favorite scenario. scenario C

Champion A does a ton of damage BUT its on a skillshot with a Windup time. Champion B has an ability that allows him blink a short distance allowing him to potential dodge the skill. NOW the fight has become a reactive/ mindgame style duel where either side can claim victory.

You can get a lot of damage on people off with your rockets. A lot of people won't respect your range early and I've sometimes even half-healthed them just by walking up and autoing them a lot or the creepwave and I'm able to get a kill at like level 2 or 3. I think she's pretty good at level 1. Just keep your rockets out and auto the caster minions and enemy bot and you can get a pretty good level 1 advantage. I gave this advice yesterday but my advice early levels before first back with Jinx is usually just to shove in pretty hard since no one can really match your shove and it makes it where they can't trade.

Another thing is in you to make certain bad matchups not a big deal if you take the right starting items. With poke heavy lanes I usually take long sword and 3 pots and it keeps me from getting zoned after a bad trade early. You can always upgrade the item. I'll buy it against soraka and upgrade it to executioner's which isn't a big deal to rush when it's effectively only 550 gold for you. With certain things like blitzcrank and vel'koz who punish positioning mistakes really hard early I'm experimenting with taking boots and four pots (although the lack of damage is really noticeable). As long as you can get a even or good early laning phase you should be set to win the game

Except Highlander is multiplicative often forcing you to taking movement speed modifiers less you be outran by the simple summoner spell ghost. (seriously Zilean,Warwick and Hecarim can all outrun Yi which is ironic considering his main design is "SPEED is the essence of all things")

Master Yi builds often consist of a nice pool of resist/HP after 3 core damage items. Master yi does not defeat his enemys by nimbly outmaneuvering them. He defeats them by dodging an ability with alpha strike and then meditating through the brunt of their attacks and then outdpsing them with overwhelming true damage, On-hit and attack speed.

Master Yi in Project overdrive and Master Yi in-game are two completely different characters and your Idea of what Yi is as opposed to how Yi actually plays is skewed .

Q would work on a charge system. You get six charges, but you could only use Q if you had all six of them. After using Q you'd have a 1.5 second window to fire another, up to six until you had no charges left, and after either running out or waiting more than 1.5 seconds the ability would go on cooldown until you'd recovered all of the charges.

Successfully hitting Q on a champion would cause it to refund half of its mana and the next Q would do 10% more damage (up to 50% more damage on the last Q if you hit all of them)

Incredibly shit. Build is Gunblade > Boots 2> Abyssal or Zhonyas > The other one, or a Lichbane> voidcap in some order.

Final build will be gunblade, zhonyas, void, and two of deathcap/abyssal/lichbane. You can also sometimes go SV instead of abyssal, or even grab a randuins, but only when you are VERY ahead.

Don't go lethality.

Also pretty much never go Sorcs, mercs or tabis are much more important. You do enough damage anyway and everybody will buy mr against you so the flat pen isn't very useful. The only time for sorcs is when you are the only ap threat and the enemy will be stacking armor

The opposite actually, she can trade pretty well into melees, and has trouble vs ranged. Jayce and Quinn are hell, Teemo is annoying but not too bad, Gnar is very easy. Post 6 you can beat all of them besides Jayce, Gnar just press every button and you win, Quinn try to wait for her to use e and then all in, Teemo ult in, get blinded, wait out blind in your w, and then kill.

Play defensively until 6, it's a difficult matchup but still winnable. Get a lichbane second and just push hard, don't waste time trying to follow her
