That isn't a heart attack, it's an epileptic seizure. I know because I am epileptic myself. What was happening at the beginning is that he was having trouble thinking (it's a common predictor of seizures, just beforehand many people will have this occurrence where they can't even form words, I can say myself that it's quite frustrating losing the ability to think even temporarily).

That part where he looked up and to the right, that is a strong sign that the cause of the seizure comes from the left frontal lobe. My seizures were almost identical, he would have been completely blacked out for the whole thing, possibly even for a few minutes before that while he seemed relatively normal.

Was MoSG underrated good but just unexplored because of an early meta? So many legendaries actually hit I mean there is Niggerfaggot being actually in a 12-0 Brawl Zoo deck, we see Patches, Finja, Sally might be coming back, Kun saw good play, Solia ok, Wickerflame is a fun underrated card, Raza was very useful, Shaku ended up being meta defining, White Eyes is crazy value, Krul is sorta ok, we had usable commons, game breaking rares, and some interesting epics such as Burgly Bully, Weasel Tunneler, Dirty Rat, Blubber Baron, Leatherclad Hogleader.

Honestly, maybe this was actually a very fun and good set if you look past the stale meta and that Grimy Goons wasn't that good there was still opportunities to break the meta and especially tournament meta.

I just think the main problem with Hearthstone is too much of the good stuff is locked away for 99% of players more then that the sets are bad.

Actually I would say that the main problem with Hearthstone is that Blizzard keeps making overpowered 1-drops that promote an aggro meta that makes all of the fun cards impossible to play, it only got worse in MoSG because they also introduced Jade, which is a very oppressive mechanic for slower decks and playstyles.

The entire fucking problem with this game is 1-mana drops. All the decent 1-mana drops in the game straight up win you the game on turn 1 if they go more than one turn uncontested.

No 1-drop in the game should have more than 3 overall stats unless it has a drawback.
No 1-drop in the game should have a snowballing mechanic that wins the game on the spot.
And especially no fucking one drop in the game should have a snowballing mechanic while also having more than 3 overall stats.

I want to start by saying this is subjective, in a way. This game is a 30-card deck game.

People give shit to people that just netdeck and "only" change 5 cards but if you know anything about card games you are aware that changing 15%~ of a deck makes the whole difference both in combos and win ratio.

Do you really care if there is only one deck per class? I rather have 1 deck per class and all classes being useful than 2 or 3 decks per class and have to face "jade shaman" or "midrange shaman" or "malygos otk shaman".

current standard managing to get both things wrong is disgusting and I hope Un'Goro at least fixes that.

Another thing blizzard has been doing to subtley ruin the game.

Discover (and all it's variations like kazakus, drake operative and upcoming adapt.) It was fine and fun at first, but they've gone too far with it. Everything is SO flexible now the old aspect of the game involving knowing your opponents deck and properly playing around what they have is dying. You can't play around things nearly as well because they could just have fucking anything.

It's just contributing even more to turning the game into "play shit on curve, trade efficiently and hope you get luckier draws"-stone.

Can someone explain the appeal of this game to me?

The person who wins is typically the one who has the most legendarys in their deck

For example someone can make a well theory crafted deck and typically lose to someone who can mismatch cards together and then add something like Kel'Thuzad and Ragnaros and win because these two cards are so much stronger then any theory crafted deck can hope to achieve

So it instead becomes a game of who spent more on getting legenderies then it is about card games

Am I wrong on this?

I thought so too, but then I crafted a mage deck without legendaries and without dusting anything and no money spent on packs.
I went rank 15 (top 25%) in an hour.
Then I put a single legendary you can get from an adventure for a bit of gold grinding into the deck and went rank 13 in a second.

You can learn 3 things from this
1. the game is f2p if you have time to grind
2. legendaries aren't necessary if you want to be good
3. however you need them badly if you want to be better than "good"

I've gotten legend several times with decks like Zoo and Patron, both of which are some of the cheapest decks in the game's history; both of which did no require legendaries to be ran well.

Not every meta has such a deck but not every deck that is just stacked with legenadries beats out decks that don't have any or just one or two. In fact I can only say one meta where that was true was the control warrior meta a few months after release. Cheap decks with a minimal amount of legendaries usually have always been the meta definer.
