Should I waste my time picking things up? Should I just go for that afk fishing thingie everyone talks about? Or is it possible to get enough gold to progress ingame while just grinding while being undergeared?

You shouldn't worry about upgrading your gear until like level 48. 100 ap / 100 dp serve you just fine until you reach level 56 and get your awakening. When I came back to the game I got a lot of free million silvercoins from attendance rewards, those were enough to not worry about money at all. Also Afk fishing is good money, but it won't make you rich. It's just a easy, quick thing to do while going afk for a few hours

BDO is a marathon, not a sprint. Do what you feel like doing the most since the biggest issue in the game is burnout.
AFK fishing is a good way to get started, but grinding will always beat it. You should get your first 15-20m from 1-50 which allows you to buy a +15 weapon from the marketplace.

The Refugee Camp is a pretty good spot for money. I would also say to save all your blackstones but desu that first milestone of a +15 weapon is too big, so what I instead would suggest is to get all your armor +5, your weapons +7 and sell your black stones from that point on and straight up buy a +15 from the MP which should allow you to decently farm vanilla BDO stuff such as mansha, hexe or catfish

I've started playing recently and I'm a bit lost regarding my Musa. What kind of armour and weapons should I invest in? Google tells me I should get a Liverto and go full Grudil. Is there any up to date build or something I should follow?

Keep a hold of the weapon/sub weapon you get from the quests. When you finish the main questline all the way to the end, you can upgrade the basteer weapon to +7 and get a new quest to kill like 3000 enemies in different areas which gives a ton of weapon and armor stones that you can sell for dosh.

Also, the sub weapon eventually upgrades to a blue that can't be enhanced but is really good.

Also, you get a green chest that isn't that good, but when you get to like 54 or whatever you can upgrade it to a yellow that is PRI Ultimate quality.

I've done a couple skirmishes including a 2v1 and so far I've won everything as a DK.
I'm also 210 AP now but to say it's underpowered is silly even unawakened.

It's pretty mediocre, long cooldowns, mobility is wonky and worse than other classes. Warrior is a better tank, zerker heals himself much much much better. The only redeeming factor is the accuracy party buff and tits hanging out with some outfits, well and deus vult holy light animations I guess.

It was kinda fun while it lasted, but it took only a week for people to figure it out and spill the beans.

I do think there should be more content like that, secret stuff that guilds keep secret, or sell info to someone else regarding something. Sadly it's usually just hacks and shit like that that get exploited. Like I used to farm giant secret guilds farms in Archeage, and then tell all the enemy guilds to hit them, but a lot of time they didn't bother even checking it out.

Devs would need to implement and change stuff quickly for it to actually become a challenge and be valuable as fuck that no one rats out and it stops being a secret. But the sad truth is I don't think devs even play their games anymore, they don't give a fuck if the game is fun or have any desire to enjoy it themselves, you don't see anyone pationate about the games they work on sadly, they just try to make the biggest cash cow and attract attention from people that don't even play mmos so they try their game out.

Sorry for late response, lad. As a Musa, I like to run Grunil Helmet / Grunil Gloves, then Taritas Armor / Taritas Boots. This is important to maximize your WP, which you'll need plenty of to spam Chase and Rising Storm.

With unawakened skills, you'll want Blooming and Rising Storm maxed. Also Revenge Strike, I think, or maybe Nemesis Strike or whatever it is. Divider is great. Whirlwind Cut is important. Max out Chase. Max out Musa Spirit. Most other skills are superfluous.

Musa had active community and was really good until they realized it wasn't FOTM-worthy anymore and people massively rolled away from it

Meta is rapidly changing again with the new kamasylva zone since people became a lot more tanky with the new accessories

Just play what you feel like spending hours and hours (and hours) of time in. If you're rerolling because people telling you it sucks then maybe this isn't the game for you

Ranger can be fun if you don't mind a low skill ceiling and devastating with good-great gear.

What I would do is look up for videos on how characters play (and mostly look up Koreans with google translate or something) and see if you really like the look of something. The biggest thing is that classes can be really deceiving in terms of playstyle and there is a surprising amount of depth to each class if you want to play it at top level(regardless of your ability to instagib groups of people with your black spirit spender).

yeah you click the LFG button and it insta arranges a group for you, then you get teleported to the same dungeon you've already cleared 200 times with some random aspies that never talk to get your daily quests done! then proceed to spend 30 minutes killing waves of thrash mobs the tank pretty much kills alone and then bang the loot piñata boss that rewards you with items you can disenchant for mats worth cents. Then you log off until the weekly raid is available where you kinda do the same but it lasts 90 mins instead of 30 and logoff till the next day to repeat the same dungeon again and again and again! it's amazingly fun and addictive, I'm at honored rep with the gahazilian babies of remotay and I can't wait to get my epic trinket after 6 months of farming daily dungeons!

I would suggest to just get to 57 on a single class and if you still like it by then, dump all the cash you want on it

1-56 can be done within 10 hours once you get even average gear. Finding a class that suits you is important since BDO requires you to play a lot on a single character, just dont abandon something you genuinely like because someone else told you its shit I am projecting here because thats what I did and if I focused all my energy instead of rerolling around 6 times I would've actually had a decent geared character by now
