Found out the issue with the Meadow crash, sort of. It's something related to the premade files, possibly their compression or something else. I'm currently running crosshairs, speedo, reduced sun flares, and lots of blood. Compiled the first two myself, using the pre-made files for the others. I did not crash when we hit Meadow tonight. But before when I was using the pre-compiled files for crosshairs and speedo I did.

Took me awhile to test because getting the matchmaking to drop me into meadow was a pain, but there it is. Here's hoping you can figure out the exact issue from that, modanon.

Tone is not "best" Titan. She's still the most straightforward to use, but she's no longer as dominant as she was. Salvo Core is weaker, and her 40mm projectile is smaller so she can't goose Pilots as easily. Plus, her sonar is on a longer cooldown, so she can't maintain vision as often.

Are executions a little weird for anyone else? So many times I got right behind the guy, held the melee and it still just punched him.
Last game there was a super slow perched up on a roof at the edge of the map so I went up to him, fully took my hands off the keyboard, then held down V, but nope, it still registered as a punch. Does it all the time otherwise I would have my phase execute already.

I have the best success when I'm sniffing the back of his neck, and even then I need to give the melee key some love.

Make sure you're not approaching him from an angle. It feels like you need to be straight on perpendicular to his back for the execution to register.

Anyway, I'm looking to be more effective in games, and my playstyle is a eva 8 auto with grapple to be mobile and up close shooters. However, in attrition where I usually play, I notice that snipers/rifle users score more effectively and they tend to camp a lot. Is sniping just more effective? If so, what sniper would people recommend to get into sniping?

It works very well with grenadier weapons.

Not enough people use holo, so pretty much everyone will consistently fall for it. Those extra few split seconds that a hitscan player is spending shooting at the decoy is time that you can use to line up shots or get away.

The pilot model is also the best looking one of the bunch.

I have a strange tendency to do very, very well in Bounty Hunt. Here is my loadout:

EPG
Holopilot
Grav Star

The EPG has a tendency to delete entire squads of mooks in one or two shots, which helps your score and your Titan timer. It also has the added benefit of doing okay damage to Titans, which means you aren't entirely useless if you find yourself without a Titan during the AI Titan bounty waves.

The EPG splash buff and the grav star make it easy to clear banks or at least make them unattractive to other pilots. You can also throw a holo pilot out to get campers to reveal themselves.

Just make sure you're very comfortable with the movement system if you're gonna bring a grenadier weapon to Bounty Hunt. Your biggest threat is going to be the inevitable hitscan camper.

Your option is equally, if not more effective. It is also boring.

nah, phenoms are just old as shit. i have an [email protected] and an rx 480 4gb and i can run tf2 flawlessly at 60 fps while streaming and/or recording. no doubt the FX chips are inferior to the intel chips they were competing with at the time, but not so much so that they were total trash at gaming. i never had any issues gaming even before i overclocked this chip.
ryzen is also a spectacular cpu and will only get better as BIOS/MOBO issues and windows scheduler bugs are fixed.

FX chips are already very cheap, but you would be better off waiting for ryzen prices to drop, unless your board supports FX chips and you dont need top notch gaming performance.
ryzen 6 core chips are coming out quarter 2 2017.
you could also look into overclocking your phenom chip, there are a lot of guides out there and AMD chips are pretty easy to overclock, so long as you dont have stock cooling.
