If you've been unspoiled thus far, I'd actually recommend not lurking the general, or refrain from visiting as much as you can, except to summon for help or something, spoilers for this game are pretty huge (unless you've been spoiled already, of course). Playing through this game blind is one of the best experiences.

And they are aliens, functionally, for this fantasy setting, they are alien creature above and apart from the human beings, alien in nature that their existence is simply incompatible with human existence. I'd say Ludwig's Holy Blade is a must have since it's the weapon that gets the best arcane scaling when converted.

I seem to have a problem just looking around and seeing things in Bloodborne. I'm not sure if it's the darkness, or if it's the motion blur, or what, but panning the camera around and trying to focus on stuff to really see what's in the area is almost painful. I never had this problem in any dark souls, any advice or is there a fix?

You don't need to invest in either for Pure Arc, base stats already let you use starter weapons and Parasite. If you want options, 18/20 let's you use every converted weapon. Any of them will do great since Cold Abyssals exist, so their Arc scaling doesn't matter much. I personally wouldn't use Rakuyo so I'd go 18/14 if you don't plan on using it. Stuff like Wheel, HMS and Boomhammer will need at least 25/12 Str/Skl, Tonitrus could be treated as a Pure Bolt weapon if you wanna maximize the buff damage.

Nah Wheel is fine, even with base stats if you use Flat Arcane gems. Only that, Tontrus, HMS and Boomhammer are worth using on Arc builds with Nourishings, ideally with 25/12 Str/Skl like I said. Any other split weapon should be avoided. A common HMS build is 25/25/50 Str/Skl/Arc, it'll let you use all the weapons I mentioned effectively.

how do I befriend djura?
I need to get snatched by a snatcher and then kill paarl and go to old yarnham through the secret entrance. but how am I supposed to make the snatchers spawn when I have to kill BSB, and to get to BSB I need to aggro djura and get chased around with a minigun.

Just kill BSB. You can't immediately befriend Djura, as in you can't start off with him already being friendly. He'll always be hostile first. You can befriend him later when you kill Paarl.
