Assassin or Summoner are probably the best all around solo classes, Warlock is supposed to be top of the line at the solo content that actually matters at end game though
All of the classes are newfag friendly to a degree, except maybe KFM or Assassin

Don't play Destroyer unless you're doing PVP primarily, they're massive time and money sinks to catch up to the damage output of an FM with half their gear.

The game itself is already pretty unfriendly to new players. The leveling experience is dull and void of any players. It hasn't been revised nor quests itself got condensed, only the equipment saw any changes. Once they hit 50, they get a content overload and with no clue on what to do. While everyone says "do DC", it's just a signal to some of them that says "start grinding again." Shits not fun unless you're some workaholic german that plays vehicle simulators at home after work.

The thread itself is another beast. It's practically a /terag/-lite, where the same shit is regurgitated every thread minus the degeneracy /terag/ has. You don't have to make it down the first 50 posts and you can see more shallow posts than discussions about the game itself. Most replies to questions are met with half assed, half memed responses like "use your credit card" or the ayylmao video when their character looks like shit and so on. If someone remotely posts their avatar and isn't some idol put on a pedestal, they get shit on right away or get told to fuck off (to their discord group presumably). Basically, unlike /terag/, the newfags that join are usually scared off because the community here tells them to get out, rather than be disgusted by the community's degeneracy and leaving when no one responded to their question(s).

Now after all that foot shooting, most people are in their "discords" and helps each other while progressing in game. You have some bnsg players that don't want to be associated with /bnsg/ because they'll just get shit on. You have new players dropping the game because of the bland progression and lack of helpful answers.

And after all that shit, you wonder why this shitpit of a general is so hollow and void of any new faces. I know this isn't everything for why /bnsg/ is shit, it's just the tip of the iceberg. If anything, I thank /bnsg/ for turning people away at the door because their experiences exponentially becomes more enjoyable.
