Like most plot questions in SA2, you can see that they really only change these details to try and make memorable moments. That cut-scene is a really good one for both characters when you ignore that little oddity. Same with the one where she's able to fly (showing shadow that news paper)
Hell, chaos control is a concept that only exists for cut-scenes and the second fight with sonic/shadow.

2 Chaos at most at peak level on 1 Gen is possible. All I need to do is simply dump animals/Chaos Drives into the little champs and pretty much train him to do chao fights like Rocky.

Or I can either dump a shit ton of Unicorns/Dragons into the thing to raise all its Stats which is basically grinding.
This run will be entirely without bugs possibly unless glitched out unexpectedly.
Since I don't even know how to trigger most glitches and I am not a capable speedrunner either.

Turns out someone on Sonic Stadium found out what's going on

Which Sonic final boss was your favorite overall, /sthg/? In terms of gameplay, difficulty, hype, whatever.

I absolutely loved Metal Overlord. The idea of only being able to defeat him using Team Blast ties nicely into the cheesy themes of the story and may also come as a surprise to those who never used teamblast throughout the game. The fact that the actual "fight" was mostly just you trying to counter whatever Metal dished at you was kind of fucking neat, and Knuckles literally punched so hard explosions came out of his fists. Couple that with Metal Sonic, who genuinely had a really intimidating presence as the final boss with an amazing voice, and arguably one of my favorite Crush 40 tracks ever, and it made for a hype yet enjoyable final battle which wasn't too difficult.

One thing I kind of miss about the Sonic Adventure 2's models was how expressive everyone was. Everyone's eyes and ears were always moving, Sonic especially. I always liked how his ears would twitch and move sometimes like an actual animal's would.

I thought the idea behind Metal Overlord was cool as hell. He basically became a robotic chimera of sorts, and just how far he went with it was just proof of how deranged and obsessed he became with his single purpose. In the end he's still Metal Sonic - from his standpoint, the fact that he was as capable of going as far as he did is just a testament to how superior he is.
