Why do people always think servers are bad and new servers will be good and the solution to everything? I've been playing in private servers since wotlk came out and every single time it's the SAME story.

this is what you get for being dumb enough to run with a guild that does pure loot council as a loot system.

My guild in vanilla had loot council light where leaders would cut certain classes off of bidding for certain items because they didnt really need them. Such as cutting hunters off from rolling on rogue bows. But other than that we had dkp.
Its the best system.

Signing up for loot council is just asking to get cucked by a clique. They will always have a reason why their friend should get loot instead of you.

I run with a loot council guild right now but they are small time and cant get 40 60s to raid with so we pug which means we roll on gear. As soon as they have enough 60s to abuse their loot council power I am quiting.

Unless something crazy happens, then yes. There are no other options to play vanilla for now. Crestfall won't be coming till late 2017 (at best) and a lot could change anyways. Waiting is never a smart thing to do in the private server scene anyways because you can never predict the future.
