Anyway, what's a good iso set for destroyer? I have him with Stark Backing, but it would seem to me like he needs an offensive set since you'll probably only be using him against energy characters so he can reflect and face tank and thus healing will be negligible.

Kate is a pretty easy higher SL floor clear at T2. She can even beat Carnage floor with a physical attack leadership and Clint team up if you're really forced to.

My two cents: Gwenpool and Kate are good enough at T1 to at least clear something within the 1-4 range with a little help, but become monsters when T2'd.
Naturally upgrade Gwenpool. Strange will be a big help as is and BAM isn't hard to farm. The norns is where you'll hurt eventually.
Malekith isn't a great T2 (they need to up it to a 150% bonus and a 50% reduction for that half assed bonus to be of any value) but can help if you need blasters. Wasp won't do you much good since you've got time limits.
Sif and Rulk are great picks if you need combat.

Ok it looks like Kate is definitely a shoe-in then. Rolled Overdrive on her a short while back so getting her gears and custom is needed.

I have Carnage being prepared to be T2'd as well and was leaning on using one for Rulk as well since he seems promising. That will shoot my Combat from 2 to 4 and my speed from 3 to 5 if I do Gwenpool as well.

I sort of want to do Blade, but I'm not so sure he'll be strong enough and Malekith is a old favorite, but I have to agree that his T2 bonus is underwhelming. Sif however seems like a decent fusion of Elsa and Sharon Rodgers with her new moveset and her T2 bonuses seem fantastic, but that may be over-pushing combats presence on my roster. Also she's easy to farm.

Destroyer is another favorite, but I hear his use for SL is limited.

Both of those are solid choices. Doing it on gwen would let you use her 300 bios on her gears and get very close if not to 20/20/20/20. Only other ones out of those I'd say are worth a 6* ticket are kate or hellstrom but both of those are pretty simple to farm over time.

Throw a T2 WW on with Elsa and either Blade, Daredevil or Angela as the third character for the team-up bonuses with Elsa/WW and you've got yourself the queen of stage clearing.

As much as I want certain mutants really badly (specifically Cyclops, Cable, Magneto, Mr. Sinister + Apocalypse and Onslaught World Boss), I wouldn't want them at the expense of more obscure Marvel characters. Thing about the X-men is that it's such a fuck-huge franchise that if you open the flood gates then there's no closing them. You'd never get the more obscure Marvel characters when there's like a hundred X-men characters that would need to get added in their place.

Now the lack of Fantastic Four characters will never not piss me off.

Strange is better than him, but ranking up Strange is a bit of a different beast than Odin/Thanos/Dormammu. Between Odin/Thanos/Dormammu, from one day's worth of testing him in the various modes, I like Dormammu the most. Going to keep using Odin for clearing stages since he seems to still clear stages faster than anyone else, but Dormammu is better than Odin or Thanos for PvP and his playstyle is definitely more fun than Odin or Thanos.

I'd probably prioritize the four of them as:

In T/L at least, Dormammu is actually the most dangerous foe. You have plenty of options for Strange and Thanos, and Odin gets easily killed by abusing iframes and burst damage; but the reflect, the damage in the skull, and the revive practically make it so only Strange is a good counter to him, everyone else require some good timing and luck for the RNG to not fuck you up.

I got a def pen 16.7%/fire damage 28.3%/4 sec of invincibility under 50% HP.

I'm sure there could be better choices, considering it's only a 4* obelisk, but I'd rather not risk my luck with it.

I also forgot that T2 Ghost Rider should also be a perfect counter to him, as long as you don't attack during reflect barrier, but putting one character on your team to counter one other is kinda unpractical.
