What i did was take a racemenu preset, get rid of the makeups hair and other crap. And heavlily modify the existing base to suit my taste.

So I logged back in a few days ago, and WOW you guys have had a discussion. I saw a thousand mini thinkpieces on my actions, but one thing I noticed is that many of you had an incorrect idea about why I quit. Given the circumstances, I certainly get it, but I feel this needs clarification. Some of you will not believe me. I don't care. I will begin with what it is not.
This is not a 'Apollo got trolled off the internet' deal. Over the past 3 years I have been the subject of so very many "attacks" by people who hated my mod descriptions with significant vitriol, I am goddamn immune. Each person that tells me to go kill myself is about half as shocking as the last guy, and it's happened 5,792.58 times. Certainly in response to my political actions, that increased massively, but by then the wind had been taken out of its sails by, again, 3 years of the internet yelling at me.
I did not take down my mods BECAUSE Donald Trump won. I took down my mods as a RESULT of Donald Trump becoming president of my country.
Let me explain further: over the past year or two, I've been questioning the amount of time and effort I put into modding and whether it was all "worth it". While Skyrim held my attention for about 3 years, I haven't done a new playthrough in a year now, and before then a year before that. This is important because I've always said that I make mods for me, not for you. I offer them on the internet because why the hell not? Of course, the answer to my question has been glaringly obvious for years now: because the internet is a goddamn hate machine.
Over the past three years, I have been doxxed three times. All were failures, but they clearly tried to do their research. Outside of a doxxing, members of the community have been able to identify me successfully through creative means on their own, and while these may have been for benign reasons, it is more than enough to make me panic.

Manual grandpa here. I have a possibly year old version of Ordinator. Thinking of finally getting the newest version for a mage character because he has fuck all health and overflowing cup seems a necessity but in my version it lasts 20 seconds (wew) and I think it's a more reasonable 60 in the newest version. Will it fuck up a current character to change? Also, I'm playing with MLU and the uncapper and have the file for compatibility/rebalancing with all three that gives extra perk points every few levels, etc. etc. Has that one really changed, and is that a way it could fuck up a current character? If that just doesn't make sense, ignore it. Idk what I'm doing tbqh(pbuh).

I think you're asking a bit too much. Even realistically, Steel isn't that much rarer than Iron in real life. It makes sense for bandits who have little-to-no access to resources like forges to create their own steel armor and so they have to use iron, but for a player who can visit civilized towns and cities it also makes sense that they can start from steel rather than iron like a hobo/bandit.

The only thing I can suggest is to get some sort of mod that blocks being able to smith certain equipment tiers unless your smithing is a certain level, like 25 + 2 perk points for steel or something like that. Pretty sure SPERG did that but it's been a while since I played.

Yes and no.

First off, it sounds like you probably want a much longer game. For that, I suggest getting SkyTweak and reducing your skill EXP rates. I have all of them cut in half from vanilla. Morrowloot Ultimate affects rarity of higher-level armors if that's something your interested in, too.

You also want something to add more bandit armor. Install Brigandage. It's really good for this. It adds a shitload of very low-end armor for bandits. It makes bandits with better armor less common. Immersive Armors is good for this, too. Lore Weapon Expansion helps for weapons. Also consider Book of UUNP, it does something similar. Though, do yourself a favor and install the No Skimpy patch. Word of warning: Book of UUNP also adds new helmets for guards and they look like shit and there's no patch. So, if that bothers you andyou're not good with TES5Edit, maybe skip over it.

You might also want to install Scarcity. It's a good mod that reduces the amount and quality of loot and vendor stock. Makes good loot a little rarer, which means it's way more exciting when you find something good.

But none of that means much if you can just pawn off a load of flowers and apples and iron daggers and buy yourself a full set of steel plate, so also install Trade & Barter. I suggest using the settings found on Scarcity's page. They're pretty good, although I've reduced buying price and increased selling price, so my economy is even harder.

Wrye Bash lets you created a bashed patch. It merges name changes, stat changes, leveled lists, and a few other miscellaneous things from mods. Normally these records would overwrite eachother. I.e., if mod A adds an item to leveled list L, and mod B also adds an item to leveled list L, and mod B is loaded after mod A, then nothing from mod A would get added to the leveled list. Only items from mod B would appear in the leveled list. A bashed patch fixes this by merged the leveled lists from mods A and B into a single plugin. You put that plugin at the bottom of your load order, so it overwrites all other mods. You should have a bashed patch in pretty much any load order, and you should be rebuilding your patch any time you add or remove mods with leveled lists.
