Well, they're giving more range and shit to a character that certainly does not need any more help. I personally don't have that many issues with PKs, but I know they're super strong and they're just reinforcing the idea that PK meta that everyone hates.

I'm better at fighting Wardens than I am playing it. Mege is pretty great with him, though, but he mostly spams vortex and gb. Usually when I fight anyone who is turtling I'll stay in their face with shoves and gb until they open up and make a mistake. Wardens especially are easy to open up when they get pressured since they almost always want to go for that super fast top light. Sorry if my advice is shit.

Once you understand how the game works it makes it that much more frustrating to lose to something because it's OP or just sick of the game in general. I've played Lawbringer for like 150 hours and he's absolute garbage. His punishes are god awful and his attacks are incredibly slow. I put so much time into him that I got good with him, but I was still losing to Warden and PK shitters with revenge builds since it's the dominant strategy. Once they released the patch notes and said that they're buffing Peacekeeper, who is the single most broken character in the game at the moment, I knew there was no hope for balance. I switched to Conqueror and now that I have no gear I get mauled because everyone else is fully geared and I have nothing.

tl;dr
>Gear is overpowered and is a retarded grinding mechanic for Ubi to make money off of steel/boosters
>Balance is out the fucking window and won't be fixed for some time (see Rainbow Six Siege balancing)
>when balance adjustments are made it's to characters that don't fucking need them
>matchmaking is still garbage and people leave after one round because they get sick of it too

With Ubis current matchmaking? Thank God you can just leave whenever. Im sick of being matched with reputation 6+ wardens, peacekeepers and warlords that are obviously on a whole different level of play then I am despite their already powerful classes. i think Shugoki might be in his own weird tier to be honest, he's probably the most matchup dependant character in the game, I think he loses to a lot of the higher tiers but fucking curbstomps the lower tiers. Kind of like Peacekeeper except she actually has no bad matchups, just 'ok' ones and 'completely one-sided' against the slow-guard characters lol. Orochi is like this to a lesser degree.

Kensei might be pretty good but I personally haven't seen one that has done anything other characters can't do better. I would love to be shown a video of some good Kensei play if it's good, though.

Tier 2 - Good but not top-tier tournament performance:

Tier 3 - Has potential, not great success on tournaments:

A lot of the characters between tiers 3 and 4 can shift depending on the players, of course. I am especially not certain about hte position of Raiders Nobushis and Kensei.
