Does anyone know if there's a reliable place to get the dual swords with magic scaling A? Also someone posted in some other thread on a different website that they tested the damage at different magic levels, up to 90 magic and they saw no damage increase. Someone replied that they increase the power of your onmyo magic instead of their own damage. Can anyone confirm?

A lot of the music is a blend of Irish folk and Japanese folk embellished into an orchestral score.

Just finished 3rd region, the fuck was the difficulty with the bosses? All 3 were pretty easy and that white tiger fight was a shitshow when I one shot it with fewer than full elixirs. The yukionna fight was at least pretty fun, but somehow the bosses have started to get easier.

The white tiger stage was pretty shitty overall, I digged most of the levels so far but it seemed so generic and corridor heavy. The underground sections were pretty stupid desu.

My build is really shit and I don't really know what I'm doing with my equipment. I use 1kat mid stance 95% of the time and the other 5% low stance.

Quick question, does Life +48 mean it's just an additional 48 hp?

I felt like the earlier bosses were much harder than the 3rd region bosses. It might be because I was getting accustomed to the game, but the first and second bosses gave me lots of trouble. I also had trouble with the centipede, even if it was pretty easy.

I had heard that yukionna was a step up in difficulty so I thought I would have a hard time with her. Sure it took some tries to beat her, but I felt like I knew what I was doing almost the whole time and it was just up to executing my strategy. The fight was pretty fun, but at the same time she didn't really do anything too special.

The spider boss was also pretty easy, I probably died 2 times. I almost killed her the first try with only a couple elixirs as I wasn't sure if the door was a boss door or not.

Which Onmyo Mystic art is better for a magic tank build? The turtle spirit gives Superarmor on casting so I figure it might be good to use the buff time enhancement but my current build uses the instant cast one and I really like being able to buff mid attack while not requiring a weaker cast speed helmet.

There isn't really anything to redpill, you've made it through the game without the spear's extra reach.
You don't 'need' it aside from getting all of the mystic arts.

Other than that, spearfall is a good skill. Knocks human enemies down if they don't block the final downswing.
But you may as well just Kingo+Sword of execution with 1kat if you want some cheese.

Yeah. Sorry if I sound rude, it's just hard to explain. One of the big reason is how skills are locked, and how each stance has uniqueness to the moveset that makes your life easier. For example, high stance 1kat has a vertical downslice as the first light attack. A lot of the time you can cut a Yoki's horns off in once blow, giving you an immediate advantage, which mid and low stance can't. There's also skills to take into account, and other weapons

Try changing up your playstyle, experiment with your moves. You might find something that can change your encounters entirely. Almost any build can beat NG+ if you play it right.
I spent all my game using nothing but axes, got stomped on in NG+, then found some interesting tricks using moves that I had thrown aside as worthless. For example, Stone Mallet seemed quite useless, but it's actually very good at breaking ki while enemies are attacking since it's super armored and can knock revenants on their ass quite easily.

I finished beating all the normal mode side missions today. Just have the dojo missions left. I have all the kodama.

How do you get the hotsprings trophy? Do I need to step in every hot spring in that bath house? Any hidden ones that I could be missing? (I got the ones in Silver Mines and Spirit Stone Slumbers)

Just do the mission in ng, you can literally run to the boss room in about 1:30. The only trick is grabbing the key to the first door (in the cave just above it, the entrace is to the right of the door) and whalloping the 2 wheel monks (or just run past them and dodge out of the way. Dont even bother opening the shortcut before the boss room because you really shouldnt die to it. I got fangs 100% of the time using itokuri and a bit of luck splashed on a few bits of kit.
